Honestly, a Terraria-styled corruption/crimson evil biome would be kind of interesting in Minecraft, and the sculk would be perfect for that Add more mobs that can spawn within it, and “purifying” it could be an interesting objective. (And for players who don’t want it to spread, a game rule to shut it off isn’t out of the question.)

A smart idea for this mod to interact with every block (as temporary textures and such) would be a generic infested texture that would overlay onto any new block texture that it would interact with

@@KaratFengMinecraft I haven't programmed in JavaScript in forever, so I don't know the feasibility of making something like that. I don't know if minecraft is capable of having a new block without it being an entirely new file. Then again, if they take make a general generic Sculk Corruption block, they could make the block store nbt data of what the block was previously. Cause can't you reverse the sculk-ification?

0:45 Did you have the big brain mod installed? that mod adds a jumping AI for mobs that allows them to jump over pits and things but it is still very qwerky and needs work as mobs usually jump to their death or think they can jump through walls

@@KaratFengMinecraft you can turn off only the jumping AI in the config or change what mobs it is applied to which is what I did with the mob only setting it to illagers and piglins

If you ever try Fungal Infection: Spore, try to play around the config. You can convert other blocks into other blocks, other mobs into other mobs but to an extent. Somethings just won't convert or do anything. I like making the certain entities to summon other things besides the default and shortening/speeding up the conversion of blocks. My insane idea is to have the blocks transform them into gravity blocks like sand or gravel, so it's as though the infected area will dig down to bedrock. It leaves a giant wound that digs through the minecraft world.

Picture scene With this mode and a (concept mod) (one in theory ) You theme for the world is a bit realistic. For the past 6 days you travel the world and came across a few villages larger ones compared to regular Minecraft however. These villagers were destroyed some so fresh you can see the infected in the buildings still. Not wanting to risk it. You love toward a another direction. Day 7 On a hill and the sound of gun fire and infected mobs throwing themselves again bullets and iron golems of various builds. Best to help out and see what they have to trade.

I like this mod (and the video, 2016 vibes), but i would prefer it having a zombie mode where the infections spreads on like 64 chunks in one day. Also i think the blocks that cant be infected (like the wood) should be overgrown with the sculck veins.

they should repurpose the old warden concepts like the stalker as boss mobs the hoard can spawn if it gets strong enough, eventually spawning a warden

I think spawning warden would be too much, using the concept as weaker warden could be nice though

@@KaratFengMinecraft Maybe they could use the Stalker and the Beast, which are old Warden concepts. I think the Warden wouldn't be too broken, the fungal infection mod has a really strong creature it can summon when its high level called a Seecher, so the Warden could be the skulks equivalent.

It does, and it can use bees specifically to scout around for high amounts of life, (at least in another video it could) and move in that direction using all it's mass to spread that way specifically, even going deeper underground more to avoid detection if the player constantly kills the bees, and stating inside the walls as much as possible pretty much hiding till it has enough mass to strike full force
