@@tobiasfunke8967 Yeah that's true but that's sports only the best make it to the top. For me that's also part of the beauty of sports. There are honestly not a ton of things in life that are a pure meritocracy but sport is. Whoever is the fastest runner, strongest lifter, farthest thrower, etc. is the winner it's pure and simple. Where you come from, who your family is, or how much money you have are completely irrelevant because all that matters is your results and there's no shortcut to winning just a ton of practice and hard work over time.

Sports is and can be the pinnacle of one achieving thier own greatness in life. Speaking from experience as a person who participates in indoor soccer and struggling on the field yet becoming a local team hero finding out I was better as a goal keeper.

The gym where he trained was in my home town. I met him a couple of times as this is a rather small town near Heidelberg. He’s such a kind and humble and friendly person. He deserves this so much and I am very happy for him he was able to pull that off!
