@mjr7771 his attitude halted him. He didnt want it bad enough...not to mention the Texans had bigger needs at the time and didn't need another DE. It was the wrong choice for them. Edit: I do remember thinking picking a DE, any De, was the stupidest move at that time. That team had so many glaring holes but the one place they were solid was DL and they pick another? That sorry team had never spent a first rounder on OL and it showed in their QBs' wariness.

@@benf1111no people forget clowney was a generational player from and best player of his class in every level going back to middle school #1 high school player ,# 1 cfb player, #1 draft pick dude was real deal injuries can definitely change you still not a buss just wasnt injured late im college and early in his career which should been hall of fame career with his athletic ability and talent people forget he can get sacks but he is a phenomenal run defender people just look at numbers but they dont tell all
