That first level didn't need to give you a parachute indicator on the Thwomp. The parachute came out well before you were supposed to jump. Stop blaming the levels just because you made a mistake. Every level doesn't need to hold your hand on every element of its design. Mario Maker has made some Mario gamers soft in their reliance on indicators. Most old Mario games did not have indicators for things.
