I've sat through maybe a dozen different Monopoly games from streamers, and this is the first time I've seen Boardwalk hit consistently, much less knock people out. Couple that with Orange and Pink being a ghost down for the first 2/3 of the game, and this one was just weird.

The fact Orange, Red, and Yellow weren't danger spots in this game is astonishing. Boardwalk is always a wildcard: normally on the streams, it winds up that the owner gets the "Advance to Boardwalk" card or someone draws that before the space is a threat. Weird game all around, but I had a feeling Greg was going to win because these trades weren't cutthroat enough to keep anyone alive nor to keep any of the monopolists from building up. But that's just my two cents after watching what feels like a blue million Monopoly Plus streams.

@@instantcharlie1225 you have been watching too many Chilled games (ironically it isn't him that does it, it's just the atomsphere of his games) several times the players said "Because we're friends, lets do this" this is proof that trying to be conniving only etends the game, it doesn't help you win. (a bit like life really)

I will say though, thankfully my friends don't do half of the stuff Chilled's friends do; like the "Don't trust Chilled" thing has nearly crossed into brainwashing territory for some people. I remember some new person he was playing with literally say, "Everyone said not to trust you, so I don't know what to do." Also, this might just be me but the whole "Because we're friends thing" thing sounds more condescending than anything.

@@instantcharlie1225 yea, 100% on both points, don't trust chilled makes it sound like he is always Traitor even in competitive games where he is trying to teach you the game. And genuinely I think if I said that to any of my friends they would refuse the trade on principle (though sometimes it is said in jest which is ok)

It really is fascinating to see which properties will be killers in these Monopoly sessions. So far from Ze's games I can remember people dying to the Pinks, the Yellows, the Light Blues, and now the Dark Blues. You really never know who fortune will favor and today it just happened to be Greg, but it really was a good, fun effort from everyone! I enjoyed the friendly banter and deal-making between this laid-back group, and I hope Skadj's quest for empanadas ended well for him, lol. Not all Monopoly games have to be long to be fun, as proven here, and I'm glad we were able to witness this fantastic battle! Thanks for the video, Ze, and may these fun board game sessions continue on for quite some time!

I think what helped was that you did not spend forever deciding wether to give a monopoly for a monopoly or not. Like for the sake of game flow, I think just giving each other a monopoly like that helped a lot.

A fast game, in part I think due to the fact that there wasn't multiple players second guessing other people's deals to stop anything from happening. Congrats on the fastest monopoly ever!

Haven't watched the video yet but just wanted to share my shortest monopoly game story. It was in person and there was only 3 players which probably affected the time quite a bit. But basically during the first lap I had a monopoly, Turn 1 rolled a double 5 to make it to Just Visiting rolled again and got a 6 landed on the first Orange then on turn 2 I rolled Snake Eyes and got the second one rolled again and got a 4 which is a Chance picked it up and thought to myself it would be insane if this is "Go back 3 spaces" and it was so I went back three spaces and bought the last Orange and it was only turn 2. I had a full Monopoly and was quite far ahead of everyone, Upgraded as much as I could for which I think was 3 houses on each. Both other players landed on one of my Oranges that lap and that kept happening every lap. I upgraded to Hotels pretty quickly and then within 30 minutes the game was over.

I mean, getting quesadilla's from somewhere isn't as weird as buying bottled water. Anyway, Taco Bell and Cook Out have the better, cheaper for what they are quesadilla's(though I guess price varies, between states). I do make my own at home though, usually pizza ones.
