Ok ima write an entire essay abt each part that needs work (Im aware this might be seen as "mean" or wtv but Im genuinely trying to help.) (sry for grammar errors I aint rereading through all of this) PART 1 -0:04 dont spam velo like that, ur not flea and its not 2020 anymore 💀 -first clip doesnt have p/c (p/c in pretty much zoom in and zoom out so that stuff dont feel static) and shakes + velo need work -second clip doesnt even have shake 😭 -Third clip once again shakes and velo need work. Also needs p/c -fourth clip once again shakes and velo need work. Also needs p/c -fifth clip: if u r gonna have flicker dont do it like that with the audio. This clip also has the same problems as before (velo, no p/c, and shakes) -sixth clip: ok pls stop with the velo spam 😭😭. Also get better 1 framers, the inverted color feels off with the rest of the edit. Also learn how to properly use 1 framers, u cant just randomly put them in wherever. (I dont if I have to say this but the whole clip has the same problems as all the other ones: Shake, p/c, velo, ect.) -Clip spam thing: it feels outa place and if u really did wanna still do it it could've been executed way better. In summary just work on basics and maybe take a bit of inspo from edits with good basics to see what they r doing. Time for part 2... 🥲 (also Im just gonna say this now so i dont have to keep repeating myself but shakes, p/c, and velo need work across the entire part) PART 2 -3D part: Rendering is ass, also work on camera movement (idk how to rly help u with this cuz i havent learned blender yet) -Typography part #1: Whole thing has verry linear and janky camera movement, also have random typography doesnt rly fit the rest of the edit -First clip: Oh god were do I start... First of all that cc needs hella work. Second, once again as a said in the last rant dont do the random flicker thing. Third, the p/c with the tilt is kinda weird and is also way too linear. Fourth, p/c and shake need work + they r way too linear once again. -Second clip: pretty much exact same problems as the first one. Also stop using the same presets on every kill its giving me a headache -Third clip: Same as last clip -Typography part #2: Camera movement is once again janky and linear. Whole thing in general feels out of place and outdated -Fourth clip: First of all wtf was that sfx 😭. Second, that lighting overlay needs to stay in 2021. Third, stop using maxi type presets in 2024. The whole clip is just a mess -Typography part #3: Same issues as the other typography part -Fifth clip: First of all, pls dont do the 2021 sniper transition thing 😭. Second, the p/c on it is very linear. Sixth clip: Same issues, just work on basics. Also why tf is the cc so red now??? Seventh clip: Can I just be done already 😭 Eighth clip: U get the point work on basics Overall pls learn basics and stop using dated af effects and overlays, its not 2020 anymore...

I honestly appreciate the criticism tbh, I stopped seriously editing for like a year or so, and I am getting back into it because of the amount of people that want to watch it. ⁠@@kyogre342 I think he is right about that it would help you to work on basics and graphs. but I also like that you are using old school effects. It’s nostalgic in a way. Takes me back to the time when I started editing. I wouldn’t completely give up this style if I was you. But maybe you can bring your own unique aspects into it and develop something that is similar but new. Also from personal experience all this obsessing over basics might limit your creativity or motivation. So pls keep your style and try to improve it instead of doing some clean, boring/ effectless modern style. It’s not impossible to have a creative style and good basics

I lost motivation and it didn’t really help on my vfx edits cause it’s a different form of basics. You should rather make normal edits and just focus more on basics imo
