I’m so sorry about your loss, sending my love and prayers to you and your family! Also we are all so individualized when it comes to chronic illness and food!! I’ve gotten comments like that too and it annoys me how people try so hard to fix us instead of just simply being there and listening to our struggles lol. But I’m also learning to not care so much and just be okay with the fact that they won’t understand if they haven’t been through it! Keep up the awesome work :)

I loved EMDR I found it to be really helpful with many different areas of life. Good luck with that! By the way, something that helps me sleep at night because I would have insomnia and anxiety is the Michael Sealey channel here on KZbin. He makes audio recordings of hypnosis to fall asleep, and it's such a soothing and relaxing way to drift off to sleep. It gives my mind something to focus on and usually I am out like a light after a few minutes. I also find it to be deeply healing mentally as well. Anyway just something that's been working for me! Good luck with the move(s)!! We are moving soon too and it is so stressful and I have not started packing yet either!

I have been going thought therapy for PTSD and in the last years I have been trying things and EMDR was one of them. They all are challenging and when I said to my therapist that it “sucked” she knew that I was truly doing the therapy right because you have to process the memories and good or bad you have to work through it to learn how to grow into a better you yah know. But glad you have someone you trust to work with. And mental health is so important too💚💚💚💚

Thanks for sharing about food. I’m in similar situation with food. For nearly eight years I ate a very restrictive diet to help my chronic illnesses and suspected sibo. I only got worse physically. In therapy I started slowly adding food back to my diet and discovered very interestingly that many foods deemed “unhealthy” I actually tolerate better as well. Again same working through all these feelings and judgments I have about food. Sometimes it’s freeing and other times it’s still overwhelming emotionally.

Same here like I can tolerate sugar free chocolate pudding alot better than an apple. Probably cause of my Tmj.

yes I have good days and bad days with food as well. It's such a struggle! Hoping you find peace soon!

I agree, it’s much less stressful following what makes you feel good instead of following a certain diet. The stress itself makes things worse. If my body doesn’t have a reaction towards something, I’m eating it lol

Amy, I get exactly what you are saying about food and totally agree. I have chronic illness also and have heard it all..don't eat this and don't eat that, etc. I find it's all nonsense and nothing but opinions. I eat whatever I feel makes me feel good and ignore the rest. If I give up gluten or dairy or white flour and all of that so-called 'bad' food, I feel horrible. Now, I have learned to just eat what I feel I should eat and includes chocolate, dairy, carbs, and it's perfectly fine. We have enough to deal with daily, we don't need the added stress of worrying about good food and bad food. Just because people say these things doesn't make them true. TY for your videos...I enjoy them so much.

Yess! So glad you've found peace in eating what makes YOU feel good, not what others think you should eat. That's amazing!

Oh noooooo. Your grampa; I’m so sorry 😢 You just let it out, girl! Cry all you want I’m so sorry. Actually, it was my grampa’s death that finally triggered my biggest health problems, when I just lost control over what was already a very overflowing bag. And...I’ve never gotten it back. You already have a better control over things than I ever have, so I know it won’t be that way for you. But that’s just so hard. Big hug 🤗 Keep up the good work. 💕

Your What you ate in a week video was great and I loved that you ate CHOCOLATE cause I have dairy and gluten intolerance too but I would have to be severely allergic to chocolate in order to give it up. I had bariatric surgery and had to change many things about how I eat but I said I wouldn’t give one the one thing that o still enjoy and that was dark chocolate and everyday I have a little bit. Cause I. The end you only live once😘

I have the same issue. It's so hard when so many people tell you different things to eat or to avoid. I try to not eat gluten and dairy and stay away from suger. But I can still eat it at times. It's hard when you don't have much energy to cook. Sometimes making sure you eat anything is first priority. And sadly I crave suger when my energy is really low.
