Hey Jev! Im not pro here, however, there is something you should know about Lao Cameo + an overhead move. Basically there is a window where if they block whatever hits first, they block the next hit. So if your overhead hits first, than one frame later the low hits, than they automatically block the low. Hope this helps. You just need to mix up what hits the opponent first.

Jev mk1 has unblockable safeguard. So if you do the low hat and overhead at the exact same time it negates one of them. For hard to blockables you wanna stagger them slightly.

Jev so you know there is a mechanic in the game where if you do a low and an overhead at the same time the game lets you block one of them and it counts has blocking both. But there is a specific timing that you can get away with you should look it up.

Jev, if you time the kung lao low hat so that it hits at the exact same time as your overhead, the game protects your opponent from the unblockable. Basicaly you need to space the timing out a little so it either hits overhead low or vice versa.

A good tip when facing smoke players who frequently or constantly use F4(where he hops and does 3 kicks) its actually a high. So if someone is spamming it, just duck it and you'll get a free combo. You'll either force them to learn the game or get a free set. Win-win

Just an FYI, that setup you do, there’s overhead low protection. If the overhead and low happens too closely together they game will allow them to block all of it if they just block the first hit correct. You have to time it to make it overhead low or low overhead

If your low hat and over head hit at the exact same time it’s considered an “unblock-able attack” so if your opponent is blocking it blocks both the attacks either the low hat has to hit first to go into overhead or the overhead has to hit first then the hat follow up im not sure which video I saw this information in but hope it helps 🫶🏻

Jev you try Sonya as a Kameo, i do easy 40 percent on open screen and 48 ina corner. But if i add the ground freeze set up with a bar and do sonya’s forward attack plus the corner combo can easily make it a 70 plus split string.

Also highly recommend using sonya witj scorpion to extend aerial combos. Instead of doing AIR 1+2, use AIR 2+1 into aireal kameo into another AIR 2+1 into a Ice sive kick. Hopefully jev sees this. They didnt really nerf the EX clone as much as they tweaked the gravity. Some combos in the air cant be linked pre patch....if you dont delay. Now you need to do a little delay before you continue a combo and if anything there are more options now

The sub zero situation is pretty tough. I think his actual kit and the specials he has are very strong, it’s just that his dmg is abysmal. But when you look at mk11 subzero, he had good dmg and an insane kit, making him an absolute monster of a character. It seems like if subzero could reliably get 35-40% combos he’d be competitive with the rest of the cast without being op.
