Hey jev just thought you should know in case you're not feeling kung lao, goro is considered one of the better and least cheap kameos for sub, his ambush can be used to keep them jailed if your overhead is blocked. Or if you wanna keep a blockstring going. He's got a lot of combo potential too and a rekka to keep distance or apply block pressure

13:32 just for anyone curious as to why he was able to block the hat toss and the overhead: MK1 has a system in place to avoid impossible situations, so if jev (like in the timestamp) threw the subzero overhead and hat toss low within up to 2 frames of each other, the opponent will be able to block both without needing to swap block stance. happy birthday!

What an awesome video, Jev! keep it up! I love your MK videos and I love seing you get better at the game. BTW, you actually play pretty well. At this point, I believe, that your biggest problem is teching throws (I personally think that throws being a 50/50 guess in MK is bullshit). And in regards to stress, I know it would be beyond cliche telling you to think of every match as an opportunity to learn new things and get better... So, I'm not gonna do that. Instead I suggest you stream your gameplay to one of your friends on Discord, while discussing the match itself or some other things.
