I’m just going to give props to Vaxee for actually partnering with ninjutso for this. They could have easily done what everyone else does and just cloned the shape and not give ninjutso any credit. Considering Vaxee’s CEO has had his original EC design stolen and ripped off by basically every mouse company ever, I’m sure this was important to him.

People have issues with the price of this mouse, more than anything. Thing is, it's the same price as other Vaxee products like the E1. If you're not already a fan of Vaxee, you won't like this release. Simple as that, imo.

I’ve tried 20+ mice over the past cpl years and finalmouse and Vaxee are the only ones that stay on my desk. Their clicks, simple coating and build quality is unmatched imo. People complaining about 60g is crazy to me. I have no issue switching between FM and Vaxee.

nice, i don't want a 60g mouse anymore. i feel like on rock lee training arc 😂 it's not even about the performance. i have similar kovaaks scores. it just feels cumbersome to me. and since the maya x released, it really solved the issue with build quality vs weight for me. i also ordered that 8k dongle for the sora v2, just to see if it feels better. i play with 2-4k hz and 1600dpi and so far had a more enjoyable experience. again similar scores, but it feels slightly better.

I love that vaxee mice are so well built. Even though the earlier vaxee mice were kinda iffy the XE-S feels like a tank, and that 60 gram area is perfect for me. Love that Vaxee is doing something unique, and didn’t just drop a 8k rear hump 40 gram mouse

Unrelated topic. Can someone explain to me why despite having small hands, I have easy access to the side buttons of the Viper Ultimate compared to the Op18k. When I play with the op18k my thumb needs to mess up my mouse grip to press it. With the viper ultimate I can press while having a consistent grip. And please recommend me mice that has easy side buttons for small hands if you don't mind. thanks

Sora V1 shape was pretty on point for me aside from comfort grooves in the clicks. Maybe this is a stepping point for both companies considering Vaxee is the pioneer of asymmetrical but not ergo shapes. Sora with NP01S style shape changes would be awesome in theory.

Most of these guys make safe shapes based on RJN and Zowie shape theory anyways. Thin middle for "precision" and back flare for "control", which seems to work. I miss thumb rest shapes like the MX518 and egg mice but yknow it's the meta and if Zowie gets praise for ages everyone will most likely do it.

The only thing that bugs me about this mouse is that I cant set it to my awkward 350 DPI and also the fact that I just spent a month hunting for a Sora 4K reseller at a good price and now this drops. Edit: also, Attack shark R6 review? Its like a budget Sora V2 clone with nearly the same specs.

It felt comfortable and instead of adjusting every games sensitivity settings I just stayed on 350 for every mice I own. The reason you can't get 350 DPI is because vaxee is no software and you only have predefined steps from 400 to 1600 I think.

Ninjutso isn't involved in producing this mouse or the tech, just the shape pretty much. I think their inability to make the dongle/getting screwed by their factory led to this release

A lot of the components in these mice are the same aside from software/firmware implementations so I genuinely don't see the point in shelling out close to $100 or more on this mouse.
