I have an Infernape on my Violet game that is set up almost EXACTLY like this. The only differences are that I haven’t yet changed its Tera Type so it’s still Fire, and I replaced Swords Dance and Mach Punch with Bulk Up and Drain Punch. The EVs, Nature, Held Item, Ability, and half the move set are the exact same.

I think ape is my only starter to die in a game play through but he is my second favorite starter. I always choose fire starters no matter what oh but Skeledirge is my number 1 favorite he’s so broken especially with Tera-Dragon
