I can imagine each character having 3 phases for their characters.

it depends heavily on what they can do, like the new SMX: he can let his demons take full control and unleash its full power, which isnt actually a phase. but when SMX decides to use both of them, at full power... after beaten up badly, and loss almost all the blood... that's pretty much the 2nd phase. 3rd? the 'pure will' form for 'Sans', that's basically last breath + dusttale on steroids

@@Raven-Clockwork yeah for last breath I think it would be like a sort of three phase character. First is just sans, then once killed he transforms into dust, and then with a ultimate he'll turn into last breath. Also could have one of his skill sets be Gasters summons. Similar with Smx his first form will just be normal. Have him with three skills sets and 2 movesets. next will be when both demons funnel full power into him, probably to just make it over the top just have him with three different moveset and forms in that phase one inspired by the blue giving him extra arms, the other by the reds full powered mode and the main one just being the base form. Or it could just be the cracks on his body rising up hinting at which skill set he's using. Then of course give him an ultimate to allow him to become hyperfocus this one leaving him with one skillset of like 5-7 moves but have the thing be absolutely insane by having it be faster, stronger and with a much shorter cooldown to the point if timed correctly he could literally just not let up as hyperfocus should be.

Yaknow, instead of cooking with all of this, why not give him a passive where he can get the moves of whoever he kills. (ofc, them being customized for him specifically.) I mean, i also like the idea of him just having his Dust moveset.

for 'Sans', you can do that. but for SMX, that's not the case he cant stole powers, have 2 demons, can give full control & allow full unleash, and his '2nd phase' where he use both Kaibutsu & Jirimu powers, and his 3rd 'pure will' form
