I myself hate emotional movies cause, i don't know I just don't like to watch someone's tragedy but this movie man it hit me so hard I always cry a bit while watching it and this song "Meri Maa" I always cry during this song

This movie was groundbreaking in educating the people about dyslexia and about teaching in general.....after this movie came out I had one of my classmates actually getting diagnosed as dyslexic because our teacher caught that his handwriting was like Ishaan's in the movie and also it changed how teachers should teach in classes and after this movie atleast in my state, teachers were banned from using physical punishments to students

The movie in itself is incredible, but speaking from the perspective of the kid as an x-student from the school in the movie . It’s actually located in Panchgani Maharashtra which is a beautiful place in itself. The teachers very very loving and the dorm parents were quite chill aswell . We had lots of fun stuff and activities it was a great time of my life❤

In ICSE schools atleast, the teacher would be penalized for that or suspended. But I really feel the dearth of such actions in other school boards. I think it happened or even happens today in many schools. Children arent at all to be treated as such. Never. Not ever.

@@edah125 It’s so normalized here. Teacher only favor and treat students who are good at studying kindly. The rest are treated as if they are not even humans. Teacher label students as good and bad. Schools are sucking the creativity out of the students. We don’t learn anything at all, all we do is parrot learn.

I'm a Bachelor of Education student in India. And we have an entire paper on Inclusive Education and one method they do teach us is to visit the parents and speak to the peers of the child with developmental issues to know more about the child's behaviourial issues and things that can be triggering to the child. Taare Zameen Par is a film that has been consistently screened to all B.Ed students at our university ever since it came out and became sort of a cult classic. With B.Ed now increasingly becoming an obligatory course for aspiring teachers and M.Ed for aspiring Principals, I feel like the education system is about to undergo a slow but transformative change. When I was a kid, hitting children with wooden rulers was commonplace but now teachers (at least the trained new gen ones) know better than to abuse children and use positive reinforcement techniques instead. No Indian teacher from the new gen can claim ignorance now and be as emotionally abusive as shown in this film since dealing with Children With Special Needs is now an obligatory part of our education (at least on paper). Things are changing. Slowly but surely.

This movie is beautiful. Its sad that I just made as a box office hit, but not as something important enough for the masses to really be available to all. This was one of the first movies that focused on raw child emotions, parenting and teaching techniques of our education system. It should have been one of those movies that spoke more about this & its various elements through more parts of the movie. It just ended with this one movie on child psychology, complexes and parents' confusions and dilemma. This should have been stressed more about. ❤️

Teachers are exactly like this in India. In fact I'm so used to this that I didn't know things are different in other countries. But then again, it's not always bad being like this I know I used to study and do my homeworks just cuz I was scared of my teachers lol. Also as shown in the movies they are not strict all the time. Also THEY DO NOT HIT STUDENTS. Maybe in our parents Era. But not now. I don't know about government schools But I feel even there it's not allowed now a days.

thank you for the reaction video, I really like your video, oh well I recommend 2 films. 1. Kuch Kuch Ho Ta Hai, this film was very explosive in 1998, starring SRK, Kajol and Rani, Srk Kajol's chemistry was very winning in this film 2. Faana, played by Amir Khan and Kajol, the fun fact is, Kajol has been absent from acting in films for several years and this is the first film since she became active again in 2006, because of this film Kajol refused to play in the film "Kabhi Alvida na Kehna" with SRK then replaced by Rani, even though the film was created for the return of the legendary couple SRK - Kajol, and Karan Johar as the producer was really looking forward to Kajol at that time, and a funny fact that Kajol revealed, Kajol said SRK never called her at that time where Kajol preferred to play together Amir compared to him 😂 but in this film we really forgot the chemistry between SRK Kajol, Amir Kajol is amazing in this film. you guys have made a video on chand sifarish's reaction, that's one of the soundtracks
