For the two orb weavers helping each other: it's called "tactical betrayal". You help someone your competing against for as long as your interests (in this case, gathering food) align, and the second they stop aligning you screw the bastard over and absolutely destroy them. I don't know if male orb weaver spider's are intelligent enough to think up tactical betrayal, but that doesn't really matter.

Spiders do weird dances all the time, apparently when in a predators territory, such as another spider, or even humans, if they identify you as a predator, they do a little dance, crouching as they walk, and shaking their butts. Pretty cute. Also, jumping spiders do this little two leg dance to impress you so you don’t kill them. Seen it myself, was 100% impressed.

@@Alteori Oh yeah! I strongly recommend the audio commentary. Regardless of what the movie sites list it as, the filmmakers were fully, fully aware that they were making an incredibly stupid movie, just wanted to have fun with it, and even acknowledge the left over spiders, suggesting that they might have used those for a sequel, if they ever had the chance. It was just supposed to be a fun spoof/play on old style 1950's giant bug movies. My god it's been forever since I've seen this movie. Haven't seen it since I was a kid. Still hate spiders just as much now as I did back then thanks to this. Also, suggestion for a shitty movie: Alone In The Dark 2005 It will destroy your soul, enjoy if you do watch it :)

Lavalantua might be a B-movie that will make you ask "why was it made?" Also thank you for the great videos and for reminding me of the movie that made me afraid of spiders for almost all my childhood.

its supposed to be a horror comedy. it was never intended to be serious. on the vhs cover it was listed as sci-fi horror with light humor.

Thank you for doing a reaction video of this movie. You were hilarious as usual. I love this movie. I bought it on dvd a few years ago. I'm a huge fan of Scarlett Johansson. Especially as Black Widow in the MCU. Keep safe.
