Hey hey, old minecraft veteran here. Old MOJANG and even Notch DO NOT support mods. They simply allow their existence begrudgingly. modern MOJANG has also been making many efforts in destroying their modding community to promote their micro transactions on Bedrock.

I think what a lot of people not just around the country but around the world are looking at (and anchoring to as an attack vector) is the average income of the kind of person who lives in that town and the greater city, and the actors, influencers, and other public figures from that area haven't exactly given it a very good name or represented it as a humble or down to earth place to sympathize for, so now you have this weird thing were anyone who doesn't live in Cali or this town/city completely overlooks the fact that there are non-pretentious civilians and people who they might actually get along with living there...people they might actually see as people, not "elites who deserve what came to them", which is how a lot of Americans view the kind of person who lives in that area. It's no different than the NYC Health insurance CEO's assassination, which a lot of the internet champaioned or made excuses for. Goes to show that the slippery slope goes in every direction: when people think it's OK or acceptable to dehumanize whomever they perceive as their socioeconomic enemy, that quickly turns into anyone of any different class than yours or someone else's becoming fair game the moment misfortune strikes. Social media exaccerbates this effect, which I think needs a name.

In Skyrim the vampires get weaker when you feed and your drain spell doesn't increase destruction so I use a mod to make them better. I even bought the game a 2nd time just for the potential to fix this issue I have. How does modding hurt the voice actors? How does keeping it off PC stop mods?
