This MOWER broke in the first 10 HOURS of USE! | Mow With Me Vlog #3 | Bad Boy Maverick HD POV

Recently bought a brand new Bad Boy Maverick HD and it had a little issue when picking it up from the dealer. The dealer was able to find the issue and get it fixed. In this video I go over the issue and the fix, while also getting some POV of the mower in use.

I bought a 2023 Maverick HD 54” with a Honda EFI engine . I bought it last summer and it is awesome, no issues. I mow roughly 41/2 acres with it .

Yeah my mower after I got it fixed has mowed amazing. I am uploading a video now mowing 2-3 ft tall wet grass and it killed it!

@@waylawnsllc I did have one issue, the hour meter quit at about 5-10 hours . Dealership gave me another on and have not had any other issues. How do you like the mower flap . I’ve been thinking about getting one like you have .

@@cwtex59 that’s awesome. I really like it, that one was for my 42” mz rambler so it doesn’t quite fit the opening on the 54” deck but still worked good. I recently took it off and was thinking about getting a grass flap

My 22hp Carbed Kohler has been a great engine. I'm sure the EFI models will be even better over time.

Ever since I got it fixed, it’s ran like a dream and I have 0 complaints. I have a new video coming out later this week mowing 2-3 ft tall grass in the rain and it did great!

It is very rare for the O2 sensor to give problems at low hours but it happens . Kohler has been good at taking care of any problem. We have had to repair just as many low hour EFI Kawasaki's. We try not to let mowers used by commercial cutters stay in the shop but a couple days if possible.

Yeah the mechanics working mine had to wait on an answer from bad boy before they did anything so the warranty wasn’t void. They had it back in no time!

Before i watch this video i want to say... ive had 2 mowers with kholers surge, both ended up breaking the governor inside the engine, effectively ruining them. Had a husqvarna do it last year and a troy built do it this year. I had to buy an old clapped out poulin pro off my neighbor thats been sitting for 3 years. I have to stop every 30 minutes and air the tires up. Im fk sick of messing with junk. This poulan pro rider is 18 hp single and 42 inch cut. It took me 3 and a half hours to mow, im usually done mowing and weedeating in about 2 hours. Come spring im buying a bad boy with a kawasaki motor. Idc how pissed the wife gets, im tired of messin with junk that costs hundreds per season to keep fixed and running.

I hope you get that new mower! My 42” rambler was one of the most reliable ones I ever owned

@waylawnsllc Thanks. I do have a plan to get a new 1. I'm gonna take the 18hp single off this poulan pro and put it on the troy-bilt 48-inch cut and try to sell it for 4 or 500$ springtime next year. Between that and just 3 more 250$ shed payments, I should be able to make it happen. I'll have to finance some of it, but idc my credit is 809, and I should get a decent apr.

@waylawnsllc if I could figure out why it leaves a trail some times of grass it be great. Some lawns cutting twice.

It’s been running great ever since, everything I looked up before I got it steered me towards Kohler efi over Kawasaki efi
