Like look at the amount of white on the broken piece vs the amount of white on hers and it’s clearly not it 😂 Also; I’m a mechanical engineer and I’ve studied materials for the better part of my life.. This nail totally looks like it could have been smashed in a door or something, because of the rip from the edge AND because the surface isn’t a nice arc it seems to have some strain markings in a “V” shape which happens when nails are bent back or flat.. I could write up a whole report for you, but I won’t 😜

Maybe the person wasn’t good at using press on nails, and when they tried, they didn’t do a good job, so instead of painting them, they took them off, but because they aren’t good with press ons, they had a hard time and messed them up. If that happened, then the nail would be useless and they wouldn’t try to put it back on, so maybe they accidentally (or intentionally, but hopefully not) left it somewhere instead of throwing it out. Or it could just be someone who wears them without any polish just to make their nails look longer, but I just think that’s pretty uncommon. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️
