8:07-8:15 Ok, so for some unexplained and/or incredibly stupid reason, they made it where you can only "properly" combo into supers like that WHILE you're in sparking. You can see this on the tutorial for either the blast or sparking combo page when you press the explanation button. The only combo extender I've found that lets you combo into supers even semi-seamlessly when not in sparking is Lift Strike (the attack where you press up and triangle after 1-4x square buttons). Opponents are still likely to recover before they connect just going off what I've seen, but at least you're way less likely to end up looking like a mashing idiot because the game just refuses to let you combo something that wouldn't have been a problem in the old games.

no you can combo into super you just have to stop press anything for like a 3rd of a second

@@xergoan1927 You can try to do that but if you try to use it while the opponent is facing towards you they'll be able to recover and block it outside of certain rush supers (you can see this for yourself if you put the training to dummy to guard). It's more likely to work on an opponent with their back turned since they won't really be able to block even after recovery, but trying to vanish it is always an option. Regardless, doesn't change the fact that it IS much easier to do while in sparking since the game even tells you as much with it's tutorial and control page.

I’ve found that knocking them upwards is the hardest direction of your character to recover from, and I think when it comes to supers the timing is based on character animation, I’ve noticed once your character is completely done in the animation of doing the lift strike in combos your super will come out as if the game intended at least that’s how it seems, it’s super easy to fuck up is the problem.

I'm guessing it's because they have "Dende's Healing Ability" as an ability item you can apply to anyone in modes it's allowed in.
