One of my favourite places to hike and appreciate nature. Wonderful variety of insects and arachnids too.

Tell me about it. I had an encounter with noisy tourist at Singapore Botanical Gardens. Was birding quietly with my brother and saw otters appeared. Was waiting for a good shot and an organized group of tourist came, rushing close to the otters shouting Ah mi tuo fuo! Ah mi tuo fuo! Scaring the otters away. When the otters disappeared so did these group of tourist. Then another guy came and asked me what happened, I told him that there was otters a few moments ago but it got frightened away as people was shouting at the otters and making a lot of noise. The next thing that surprises me was this 40 plus year old man started stomping on the bridge thinking that the otters were hiding below there. No prizes for guessing where these tourist are from.

Hey nice video and I want to ask how do you take pictures of snakes? Because like sometimes I want to capture details of not just the head of the snake but also the rest of the body but i cant seem to do it since i dont have multiple focus points on my camera body, so the rest of the body just kinda gets blurred out.Any tips?
@TerenceSzeto10 ай бұрын
Sure! Use a wider lens, stop down the aperture, and use a flash as well :) if still unable to get everything in focus, then you'll need to focus stack.
@XavieYT10 ай бұрын
@@TerenceSzeto is a LED light required or can i simply just use the flash.? Does it not startle them?
@TerenceSzeto10 ай бұрын
@@XavieYT snakes are generally not too affected by strobe lights like flashes, but mammals and birds are. LED lights are fine but aren't as strong as strobe lights, so you will need to crank your ISO quite a bit higher with LEDs.
