Back when I was grinding, balls deep in this game, I was averaging a 12-14 K/D per wipe, ran into a cheater on voip and he asked me what brand I was using. Told him I was natty, and he asked if I got rushed by sus players a lot, which I did. He told me it was cheaters who thought I was cheating, so they made an effort to kill me first so that I couldn’t snag up loot before they could. After a 5 minute talk, he killed me through a wall 😂

Huge agree I was farming night factory which I can be the only active pmc very often and scavs spawn like crazy I was getting 10-20 scav kills a raid just to level up my weapon mastery but it also boosts your kd.

I'm new to Tarkov, but just earlier, I literally Solo'd a Scav, immediately started engaging a dude camping where I spawned, only to encounter a scav duo that came in on the opposite end, forcing me to engage them both and kill them, so now my kills are up to 3 within 1 minute, only to then warn the 4th guy that was camping me to back off unless he wanted to end up like them, long story short, he peaked without seeing me and I gunned him to death, only to then encounter a cheater as I was looting, was in the Olive building offices across from Empire on Ground zero, tucked into a corner in one of the offices, laying on the ground behind a plant not moving, and leaning so it broke up my form a bit more, he came around the corner and the instant I got 3 shots into them, they 1 shot headshot me as if they knew exactly where my head was, I didn't see them look around or down at me at all since they were already looking directly at me. I've already gotten 2 cheaters banned thanks to a report against them I contributed to. (lvl 16)

My regular KDA is ~13, removin scavs its 2.9. The difference in perception between those two numbers is insane. The same with the survived in a row stat. My survived in a row stat is like 52 or something, but only like 14 on pmc, for some reason your scav survival rate gets added on top of it

Yup, this is true. Even as someone with a high k/d (9-10, same the last 3 wipes) I still only have about 2.5-3 k/d vs. PMCs, and that's when I play FOR pvp.

Ya I think Hunt Showdown does something kind of like this where it builds your MMR around only players, it doesn't count performance towards AI at all in your matches which is interesting!

That's because the AI in Hunt don't have guns like scavs do so they're easy targets. How often have you died to a grunt in Hunt Showdown vs a scav in Tarkov? I can say only once maybe after getting necro'd by a teammate. The AI in Hunt is 90% a sound trap and 10% a threat if you're low on hp, don't have stamina or are out of ammo.

Yes! Been asking for a PvP K/D since I started playing. Really couldn’t care less when I see a high K/D in Tarkov, just because that could mean they also avoid players, populated maps/areas and busier playtimes. If you’re just killing scavs and surviving most raids by avoiding PvP, of course your K/D is going to be high.

Then you need to include deaths from PMCS and deaths from SCAVS separately too. Other wise your PMC k/d is gonna be .05 and you scav will be 90.0, even if you die only to scavs.

It's a good idea, but it would probably actually be the opposite. I doubt hackers ever really die to AI. Hackers can aimbot bosses all day because they don't report, and it makes them a lot of money to farm them. I bet what you'd actually see is like a 2.0 PvP K/D (because they need to drop their stats), and like a 30.0 PvE K/D from farming bosses and shooting scavs through walls lol
