In shooter games, you hardly ever play a game where you die off of one shot which is realistic but not good for games. Letting majority of your good tackles winnable is good for the game even if it’s not entirely realistic. I also agree that there should be a recovery. And I play Old Gen, I have untradeable CR7 and he is not that good, I got 11-1 last champs but he is not only slow, he missed clearly open shots (he even missed the target on a GREEN a lot of times), shooting is not consistent.

FIFA 18 is the ONLY game where that was a real issue. All of the other games were doomed from the start with horrible core mechanics. This years core mechanics are much much better. I think a lot of people genuinely can't tell bad gameplay because they don't play dynamically or quickly enough to notice. If you hardly ever dribble and just run in a straight line down the wing or bore people to death passing around the midfield until they slip up then bad gameplay doesn't really affect your gameplan. In fact it helps because the opponent can't deal with you as effectively. But if you play at peak times then at like 3/4 AM UTC and can't tell the difference you're a little special tbh.

Lol I had the same conflict with my brother the other day. I play on series x and him on ps5. I stayed up real late a couple nights in a row last week (2am-4am) and discovered something very similar to the gameplay that I’ve been watching the eastern European KZbinrs play for years. It’s incredible rewarding to play a game that is up to speed with human reactions. The possibilities of play are endless. I mentioned this to my brother who plays at all times of the day and he responded with “nah it’s all in your head” and that infuriated me because it’s that response exactly that further validates the LITERAL psychosis EA makes you feel when you play a game 2x maybe even 3x slower than the human reactions. Maybe it’s not even in there control because of how many people are on the internet during the day, but at the very least… some type of response, some type of confession, some type of tip from EA is absolutely mandatory. You can’t release a game that works ONLY at the most unhealthy hours a human can ever be awake at and never mention ANYTHING. It fucking sucks. All of it.

The biggest problem I have with this year is that my gameplay feels way off on fut champs than on rivals. On rivals it feels faster, way smoother and less input lag while on fut champs it can sometimes feel unplayable. Is it just me?

That's the reason I have massive rage and anger issues in this game, I've never had in games before. Every WL I regret I play this game, and I am actually worried for my mental health. I always used one team and would constantly improve it. Occasionally a few new players I wanted to use would be released and I would restructure the team. The main reason being I was tired of losing lots of coins by changing all the time. The game basically discourages it. Also, I like keeping track of my players' stats to see who has been scoring and assisting the most. I don't see what's weird about that. I still got to try out lots of different players.

Dude, every year I go hard on Squad battles at the beginning of the game(this is because I have a life “a family so don’t have much time for myself ”). Therefore, even in squad battle the game play sucks. I luckily pack top players like Salah, Conan and you can still have differences in gameplay. I will have five games where my players are insanely responsive and other games where the same players move slower than a turtle. It’s been the same issue every year but since I love football I buy it every year. I do agree that is the best game fifa has created. I pack Hero Gomez and he is a beast for me. A player that I would never used in previous fifas. Been following you for years brother. Keep the good work.

Gameplay makes such a big difference it`s crazy. I don't know how some people can't tell the difference. For example in the 1st weekend league i played my games during the afternoon when servers are full and the gameplay was awful, tackles were bouncing everywhere, 5 m passes were going to my opponent and so on(and i barely clutched 11 wins and all i wanted was to break my controller cuz of the gameplay). The 2nd gameplay i played my games before 2PM and gameplay was rly good(i ended up 14-5 even thou the only upgrade in my team was getting valverde potm instead of tchouameni).

The way I setup now is different because of the inconsistent gameplay. I have haaland (packed him untradable) on the bench because if the gameplay is bad any time he gets the ball its immediately overturned, if the gameplay is good he can actually travel distance with the ball or connect with other players. The whole lengthy thing is great on defenders because even if gameplay is shitty you can still use your rubber limbs to deflect the ball out of the 18 yard box but god forbid you want to actually tackle and regain possession. Using the empowered slide tackles is good fun though. But when the game play is good, this game is fun. For the past few years ive played fifa for the first month and then stopped, but this time its fun enough for me to continue. I can compete with the pay 2 win players with a whole lot of cards like cuadrado and gosens(RTTK) that are cheap and with totw muriel. Your channel has helped me find decent tactics to use as well so i am grateful. I've always been shit at Fifa but now I have gotten to Div 5, so thanks man. Hopefully, they will listen someday.

I've always wondered if the gameplay inconsistency is actually a stamina bug. Like, for some reason your players have no stamina from the start of the game. There was something euphemistically mentioned about shoulder barging being less strictly called or arm touching or whatever euphemism EA used to describe refs not calling obvious fouls anymore. Seems like in former Fifas the ref at least called fouls (maybe a bias) but ever since Frostbite fouls and bounces are not called according to the rules and how it used to be before it (Adequately, at least more and not this crazy RNG stuff, which is totally unhinged from the rules of football). The ball can bounce off of one player, yet the RNG decides it was of the other player, just cuz of RNG. This literally drives people crazy. It does keep them on their toes psychologically, but it does drive people crazy. The inconsistency wrt stats also shows in SB. You have 66 shooting silver score goals while your 91 finishing ST cannot even hit the target or the ball is parried for the 23rd time "cuz he is having a great day" (bs). It seems like this game has been completely removed from the fundamental idea of being somewhat of a football game and is now an RNG flipper with a football look-a-like canvas dragged over it.

I also really liked the patch they did regards to dribbling. Could make beast combinations and my players would run in different directions. They would come ask for the ball, going for a run behind the defenders and cut inside to go in the box (played 4231). But after a couple of really enjoyable days it felt like they turned it back a bit. I couldn't attack anymore and lost every single challenge, run, tackle and my games. Now I'm playing 442 and I play boring (imo) football to score and win the games. Don't know if anybody else experience(d) this the same as I do (did), but I really want to experience the game just as the first like 4 days after that dribble patch. Could you do a video on early promos ruining FIFA? The fact most users already have teams full of special cards like heros and icons mixed with the massive supply of informs ruin the game. When you mention inconsistent gameplay what are you blaming it on? Are you saying the servers are slow at times which slows the responsiveness or are you saying some games the same players run faster or slower so it's like their stats have rendered incorrectly.. There is so many stats now from player to player, whether its core stats or body type, there is also custom tactics and formations which can counter others. I haven't felt this inconsistent gameplay yet I'm not sure what you mean by it. I just play against different quality players, with different cards, with different formations and different tactics.

I’ve found all my Div loses have come when I’ve played during peak hours. I think the inconsistency comes from server overload where suddenly first touch passes turn into touch and pass and players turning like trucks but only during those peak hours. I think this game is much better compared to older titles but not during those hours - even squad battles becomes slower (not as inconsistent compared to the online modes)

Hey Inception. long time viewer of both ur youtube and twitch. Im from Romania, the country with one of the best internet in Europe, also the country where a big part of Fifa is created.We romanians play this game with a MINIMUM of 32MS, going to 50-55 when the gameplay is horrific,and i do have the best internet.This happens because we (eastern europeans) play on servers from Frankfurt (best case, when we play with 35-36ping), Milano, or even servers from Sweden.When i hear people saying "get better internet", im raging because, i literally have the best internet, and the best ping i can get connecting to a server aproximatly 2000km away from me is 30-35.For most games 35-40ping is okay (speaking about CS,Dota,etc), but for fifa, those miliseconds deelay are crucial.Think about this, when for all of you playing with 10-20ms, the gameplay is bad, for me (playing with 40ping) the game is unplayable.I wrote all this because none of the content creators is talking about the lack of servers in the Eastern part of Europe.Maybe you can raise this matter, thanks in advance if you will.

Like for saying the truth, i have noticed this since myself since fifa 16, high speed internet, slow internet, DSL or fiber, night or day, definitely there is incosistency. Some games my players are like Prime icons, other games they are worse than bronze players! Even the pace of the game definitely change from game to game! And YES! Fifa community is toxic AF!! For me the craziest difference in gameplay is the FUT gameplay and the career/offline gameplay. Its like a completely different game.

The biggest issue for me right now is the horrible tackling. It is inconsistent and weird. Tackles which I should be winning inside my own box for example are not being won so I can go forward and pass to my CMs or STs. Tackling in the midfield is so bad. The animations being done to perform a tackle in the midfield are scrappy, they sometimes lead to a plus to the opponent.

i can't find matches too on xbox s, i shifted to xbox from pc since i kept playing the same people in fut champs so i needed a change of scenery. i swear i have never played a single match below 35-40 ms on pc and xbox. so is it actually a big problem? are everyone not getting enough opps like i gotta wait 15 mins for a match ffs

Yep, there are us who actually play the game with a constant yellow connection bar... Just played 9 WL qualification and in EVERY SINGLE GAME I HAD 60+ ms. It just can't find a better server for me to play on.

Since I am a PC player, the inconsistency in FIFA 22 wasn't that much bad (although it was sometimes) as it is now in a new next gen version that I am currently first time experiencing. I literally play the game on a TV, so for a while I thought that maybe the TV has some delay.

Honestly, I love the Attacking AI in this game currently, more than 22, but I hate having games where my players feel like they can’t control the ball, sliding all over the place. The fouls this year though, it’s really hard to get fouls, they have to really fuck up a tackle to give a foul. I still see people running through my players from behind, no foul.

And if you face team press and sprinting defending there is no holding the ball, just dumb sprinting. When I played football sprinting while defending like a mad man across the pitch made your coach take you out. It's not real football

Absolutely agree with you. I played FUT 19-20-21 and had it with the gameplay, it’s so absolute that gameplay is the main factor in the game. I stopped playing FIFA only because of this. Loved the game though, so I still follow Boras, you and partly Harry H, just out of love for the core idea of the game

I literally had 2 disconnects from these pc hackers and I could have gotten rank 2 but ea hasn't even somehow patched that. I also think a tournament mode like rocket league has is perfect for this game.

Bro I get a ping of 6-8ms and the game is still inconsistent. Players do not even recognise if the ball is in front of them. They run past it. They dont snap to the ball. Its like the game is out of sync or something. It’s obvious when your opponent wins every ball from a corner or air ball and you have to always result to trying to get the second ball because it literally feels like you aren’t winning it.

I think you are right, but it's also because the game is not responsive from the beginning. The buff for left stick dribbling is nurft after this update, in my experience. For my play style the game is worse after the update; in the playing sense. Like keeper updates are good. But now it's so hard to get a good attack going. But maybe I need more practice.
