If you waited just a bit longer you could've gotten a quest 3S instead which is $200 cheaper than the quest 3.

I'm also really happy this new gameplay was recorded using the oculus developer hub recording tools. That's the reason the FOV is so much wider than we've seen before. If anyone wants to make recordings of this game, or any other quest game, I urge them to use it. it just makes everything look so much better, All you need is a link cable wired into a PC doing the recording and you don't have to be a developer. but it will lower the in-headset resolution as a downside

I feel like there's a good chance we'll be seeing ol' Julian Day in this game. They did say the game takes place on the 4th of July, and Calendar Man has only really been a small side character in other games. I also strongly suspect Arkham Shadow is goinna be bundled with the Quest 3 S. I'm stoked. Replaying Origins in preparation now.

Biggest thing I saw, 0.48 in your video, it's a flip over an enemy. We hadn't seen that mechanic in this game before, and it was a key one in the previous games. Trying to think about the mechanics that are available and show in Arkham Asylum, and I think that was one of the last combat mechanics not shown. No idea how feasible, especially scarecrow sequences, but I wonder if rebuilding asylum into VR would be.

I have been a fan of vr and the Arkham games for a long time now, when I heard news of a new Batman Arkham game in vr I was happy and nervous at the same time, but after looking at the trailers and gameplay I can say without a doubt that I am very excited for this game and think it will be a success.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I think the release date is most likely Oct. 16. The reason I’m saying that is because leaks showed that the 3s releases the 16th, and they could be using Batman as a console seller. However, it’s definitely possible that it could come out before or after (like Asguards Wrath), but imo it makes a lot of sense for Arkham Shadow to drop the same day.

I don't understand why people are acting like it was either this or another flatscreen game, even though that was never the case. we weren't going to get another arkham game, this was only made so we could finally have a definitive batman vr experience that wasn't an interactive powerpoint presentation. people also think it isn't worth buying a vr for, and that would have made sense if this was the only vr game on the quest 3, but it isn't. there are a bunch of great games coming out on the quest 3 that are making the headset worth it, such as the alien game, the metro game, skydance's behemoth, and the already released ac nexus. not to mention all the other previous popular games on vr that aren't part of the new "vr installment of a popular franchise" initiative, such as bonelab, asgard's wrath 2, blade & sorcery nomad, etc. and if you have a vr capable pc, you can play even more, higher quality games, such as the real version of blade & sorcery, which is probably my favorite game of all time right now. you can turn that game into literally any kind of game with mods.
