I think it depends on the character run that I pick up curse of the tower. I almost ALWAYS pick it up as tainted maggy (I once had a run where a curse of the tower activation from the maggy contact damaging me somehow landing me *both* magic mushroom AND mini mushroom from the same singular proc.
