Great lookin truck!! My Dad had a red '65 C10 with 3 on the tree and a big rusty nail holding the shifter on. Maybe you could get the lockers and have an update vid climbing the hill.

It's actually a 1966 Chevy C20 Cummins powered custom build. Chevrolet did not offer a factory dually until 73.

On the 1060 you can remove the fwd/rev/brk jumper plug on the esc and get a drag brake.

no need for lockers, just switch one gear orientation inside stock diff and voilá, locked diff :)

That's a really nice truck. Mud and dirt kept getting under my clipless body pins. Every bump or jump the body is coming loss, just annoying when bashing. Rpm post is far better, you can adjust the height and use diff bodies.

The "C" is the 2wd, and "K" is the 4wd. I am really glad you and Greg decided to have a bit more fun with the truck than just the slow roll video and drove it with more judicious use of the throttle.

Ford fan here, but that body is gorgeous! Never did care for the Ford body on those trucks, although I like the 1:1 Superduty... Don't like the integrated moulded bumpers on it.. Even though it appears the bumpers on this truck are a part of the body, it looks like they're moulded separate plastic.

fun video... love the truck but then I am a chevy guy... Would like that one better as a 53' but then they did not make that style in 53' while I am pretty sure you could get a doublecab long wheelbase in 66' , needs the locking diffs out of the fcx10-k5 and brushless an you would rock it.

I really hope CEN keeps this up. The 2024 version of the WRC Puma released recently, and now we got this. They really undermarketed the new Puma, I never heard about it until a few days ago. I don’t think there are any changes except the body, but I could be wrong. Anyway, these things are some of the first releases by these guys in a while. I remember some rumors that they went bankrupt a while back when the releases were lacking😂

I’ve had a Traxxas 12t in my trx4 sport for over a year. Tossed to in to get rid of it and it’s still going despite being submerged several times and letting magic smoke

I'm glad to hear you've had more luck than I have. I kill them by doing really crazy stuff though like going up a tooth on my pinion, from 27 to 28, or using it for longer than 5 minutes. That said a brushed motor likes a good swim normally doesn't it, first thing you do when you take it out of the packet 😀

I'm 36 years old and looking to get into rc's on a budget. I had an absima X truck a couple years ago which was a good bit of fun but the suspension siezed up. So, i'm looking for something that is better build quality with similar or slightly better performance and available spares. Budget of around £130. Tia.
