Tbh it reminds me of the original self fatigue warlock. You’d run generally good cards even if they have “conditions” because you may end up discarding them anyways. If you don’t discard them, your deck will be empty soon enough and the conditions wouldn’t matter.

Commenting on the first game as someone who plays Elemental Shaman: First of all, don't worry about chain. I have literally never had the chain end in any game I've played. If built right, you will never be in the situation where it falls off except for maybe turn 2 with a bad mulligan. That's basically it. It's not really so much a feature of the deck as it is played so much as it is a deck-building restriction. Secondly, while there are a lot of bad elementals, I also do not remember ever getting three bad options with Eroded Sediment. Usually, the worst that happens is I get an expensive elemental I can't realistically play. There are enough good elementals that you see a good amount of hits. Not enough to guarantee it won't be an issue, but it isn't a bad card at all. Remember it also pulls from mage elementals, which have quite a few great ones. The zephyrs comment made me laugh because I did legitimately forget it was highlander only and picked it once. That was embarassing. Finally, turn 7 generally idn't when you need to worry about Skarr, turn 8 is. You almost always want to cold storage him after he is played so you get another one. You never play him without the cold storage unless you are getting the kill or you absolutely need to to clear or because you have run out of elementals. Or potentially against Blood DKs or Highlander DKs or anyone else that has hand disruption, because losing him for nothing is brutal. But if you load up the board on turn 7 and bait him out thats generally a massive win for you, the deck has no real reach except for him so as long as you can clear that same turn, baiting him on turn 7 is absolutely something you want to do.

This is gonna be nice mixed with the existing fatigue deck. The thing is instead of playing the bad "destroy your own cards" thing you can just play Steam Cleaner to clear all the sludge in your deck. And then maybe add Rin for some chaos lol.

That would help if the deck gets shuffled for any reason, but it would also nuke your Symphony if drawn in the wrong order.

@@Waldo_I_Am Regis is playing cards that destroy cards in his deck so how is that any different? The difference is Steam Cleaner is just 1 card that removes all the sludge immediately also hoses enemy plagues. The strat is you play Symphony late anyway

Im already so fucking sick of ex warlock. As soon as I saw the Azerite snake I knew it was a shit idea. Any card that powerful is just gonna make for really bad gameplay. All you do is sit around waiting for the op life drain combo, nothing else. Its horrible. Please god nerf that card. Speaking as a veteran warlock player.
