A jig was a mystery to me for a long time, and then like you said, it became a confidence bait very quickly. Almost always throw smaller jigs now, more finesse I guess you would say, but they have caught lots of fish over the years.

Good video I was watching on my phone and couldn’t tell exactly where you were placing the weight on that magnum Waco, rig.

For the jelly worm, I insert it right into the egg sack with the point facing down, away from the hook. For other worms, I do essentially the same as a regular Waco rig, only with a bigger setup. Here's a video all about the Waco rig, I think it will help - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHq0noKjZst8pck

The Waco rig is legit. Don't have a ton of grass where I fish but I use it anyway and I caught a good number of fish.

Absolutely, but you might want a beefy rod the handle to extra weight.

1/4 ounce bitsy jig with a ned TRD for a trailer. Gets bites when the lake is packed with other fishermen.

Just like a Waco rig - let it fall and with a little slack in your line, give it a couple pops and let it fall again. Vary it up and try to have a random presentation.

In the egg sack just under the hook. That way the worm is weighted in the middle and falls just like a wacky rig but is virtually weedless.
