@@Tinjus I love your videos, they're essentially a master class at how to play jungle assassins in general, I can apply this with rengar and get same results, like in this game when you waited inside enemy blue side, or when you stall around baron waiting for a pick, or even when you went top to get waves (I'm plat so a lot of games people just leave side lanes forever, it's free farm)

I am no Kha main, but I do love to play him, and I often play him into hard games like this. This is basically how I end up playing those hard games as well. Gotta love it when someone definitely better than me at the game effectively confirms what I'm doing is right when I do it.

btw, you should use w when the grublings spawn instead of right away and center around them, as that will clear them instantly and allow for the first grub to be isolated again, which helps the grub clear somewhat

Hey Tinjus, I have a question i've been wondering recently: I have gotten emerald before, but I realized after thousands of hours that I don't, truly, know how to win a game. I keep wondering: Should I pick a champion like Brand, since my team is constantly fighting and I do big AoE, should I pick Kayn/Udyr, champs that stay alive during fights and have good 2v2s, or do I play Adc to position better than my regular adcs and deal good damage? I have this dilemma where I don't know what function I should be taking in order to win. I notice that most of the time that I lose games, it's 3-4 players on the enemy team collapsing on me, cuz I tried to play the fight slower than my team, got a kill or two and they just snowballed harder. And when I win games, it's because we punished several mistakes correctly on the enemy team. However, to TLDR this, I need help understanding what function I should fill in a game. I want to WIN, which is how I enjoy playing, and not play a specific champion (talking about meta here. Not playing Taric cuz I like the champ, you know?). Please guide me here. I also don't understand how YOU can win games with an Assassin, no offense, I'm just wondering why the role you're filling, bursting and killing isolated targets, rather than teamfighting or protecting your team with peel, is winning you games. Could you maybe help me with this? I am really struggling to understand what role I need to fill. Thank you in advance, I love your content and found you on yt 2 weeks prior. Love your way of thinking in a game, where you choose fights carefully. Definitely not your average Khazix player lol

if your focus is on winning, you need to understand how your champ creates advantages in the game and play to their strength. winning games isn't about knowing what role to fill in your team, its more to do with how you yourself pilot the champion you're playing in a specific role, since you are the only factor you can control in a game. if you learn your fundamentals well (champ, objectives, farming etc) then you will win more, simple as that. i win my games because i know exactly what my champ needs to do to win. as an assassin: get strong, threaten map, get picks, translate that into objectives. i don't teamfight or protect my team because its not my job as an assassin to do that. you need to practice one of the roles, learn how the role creates advantages, then play to that and develop your fundamental knowledge of the game and the champ you're playing. the biggest thing that will let you win more games is focusing on objective based gameplay and not being baited into dumb fiesta fights or plays with no objective-oriented motivation. good luck :)

@@Tinjus Oh I see, I noticed you do avoid teamfights. So you play to your CHAMP's strengths, and the role the champ fills, correct? So if I were to climb with Kha'Zix, I need to look for Isolated targets to get the passive? I'm guessing this extends to a certain champ's playstyle, for example Udyr. He is really flexible as tank, damage dealer and peel, but doesn't really excel at anything (which is his playstyle). Khazix, in the other hand, is capable of oneshotting squishies, but needs certain requirements to be met (Isolated, a couple items and level advantage). If I understood correctly, you're saying I need to identify: 1 - Champ's strongest playstyle 2 - Understand how to get to that point 3 - Play in condition to that. Is this correct? Also, how do you decide wether to fight or farm? Is it "fight because objective is up, or look for picks" and "not fight because no objectives and gotta get stronger till i'm useful", or is it something else? What do you think? Oh, I really thought into this phrase of yours: "When needed, I will be useful, because I am strong enough to fill this role". You meant that there aren't always people to kill on the map or positioned badly, but when there is, you'll be able to kill them? This was a really good phrase and applies to the real life too. Sorry for massive comments and texts. I really like the way you portray yourself and your thought process, so I figured I'd talk to you and try to learn this game better. @@Tinjus I feel the statement about dumb fiesta fights. First time playing league since a long time but i got the fundamentals, makro and descissionmaking and seeing my team int in unwinable fights or just contest dragons that are not worth 3 teamates makes me blow up.

@@takaharu2879 I think that that's specifically what Tinjus is talking about. Challengers aren't gods when they do bronze to chal runs. It's just that they do the best decision possible, regardless of dumb fiesta teamfights happening or not. It looks like he also means to not blame your team. Even if they did the worst play, you shouldn't blame them. Say it's your fault. You'll climb this way. I was a hardstuck silver and got to emerald just by blaming myself. Applying what he told me there, im sure I can get to masters+

Northern and Southern hemispheres trade seasons off. Summer in US and Europe is winter in South America, Africa, Australia etc

@@AshAndCream it happens because the Earth's rotation isn't lined up with its orbit - it's tilted. This means that just like the sun moves across the sky during the day, it moves up and down the sky over the course of the year. In May to August, the tilt lines the Northern hemisphere up with the sun. October or November to February has the Earth on the other side of its orbit where the Southern hemisphere is now lined up and the north is only getting sunlight at an angle. This is also why days are longer in summer and shorter in winter - when the sun is centered above you, you get the maximum time from sunrise to sunset as opposed to when you're tilted away from it. Those things together mean there's more direct sunlight for longer each day in summer, and vice versa in winter. The Arctic and Antarctic circles have it even more interesting, because during their summer they're fully exposed to the sun and don't have night (still getting sun at a steep angle, still cold) and during their winter they're tilted far enough away that they don't get sun at all.
