I actually did know about the Netherlands and their cheese production and export. I think I had read a long time ago that it isn't only cheese either; despite the small size of the Netherlands they are one of leading food exporters in the EU. I assume this was expressed a % of production as exports or import/export ratio though because as small as the country is I can't imagine they were referring to raw tonnage. Still, it appears to be a very efficient use of what land is available.

Would it be possible to do a similar strat with droperlords and banelings ? Also why not burrow mines/banelings on 3rd expansion and wait for it to be saturated ?

Technically yes. Practically no. You need Lair & baneling nest. That's a lot of gas & time, which will alert the enemy to a cheese if they scout. And if you fail your attack, your units are gone. Unlike widow mines.

Even worse terran don't need any tech to get them or their invisibility when recharging. Imagine if DTs could be produced by robo bay and you would get blink by building council (no upgrade required).

@@nullstate8117 mines require 2 less building (racks2factory) in contrast to DTs (gate2core2council2dark shrine) the thing with DT is... that they can become archons after being countered. which is cope xD. I believe that the only thing that makes mine broken are their borrowed vision (as with any borrowed unit in sc2) borrowed units should have vision to allow melee stuff and nothing else, and maybe a detector-like radius. that way you would have to risk your medivac to target distant workers or using a scan to be used effectively. mines offer too much utility for how much they cost and how much burst aoe they can output. mines are also stupidly fast for a trap unit (they can outrun adepts and void rays).
