This was actually quite fun. While I do agree that, to a point, not being able to upgrade (or downgrade💀💀) your build in closer-to-real time is a loss, especially when it comes to the common Rounds gameplay loop and feel, it was partially mediated by looking for a different kind of progression. Watching you guys learn to utilize your builds more carefully and play to your strengths was really quite fun. Ash finally getting that round was great, watching him play through those games. Price learning that his reload was almost instant made me pop off for some reason, but it really did feel so good. Aenne getting used to the build and slaying like usual, as she should 💅. Of course, Jaz was already eating, yum yum no crumbs, from the get-go but she still found ways to play around everyone else's evolving gameplay. It was fun watching it all happen and I don't think that's exactly something you can do with the standard Rounds gameplay loop. It has _some_ merit, at the very least. So, as a viewer, this was a great watch. Had fun.

I do like watching your choices for cards, and as a someone who tries to make our local board game meetups it reminds me of some those games we play, but the draft is a big change to the normal game dynamic where players that lose rounds get more cards to help them catch up, and watching your builds evolve is a big part of the fun. Being stuck with the same cards the whole time just isn't as good as normal Rounds or when you get multiple cards. The constant 'uwu' was pretty funny and especially Price's barrage since he fires so fast! I do love the Legos, a fun and silly ability that works. Not all the mod cards end up being great, but I love that they exist. Also great to see new levels and concepts to mix things up. Love the Bubble Bobble references too, I have it for my Commodore 64. XD

I enjoy the idea of doing draft when new mods are added honestly. Its like MTG, drafting with new packs when they release. I mean we didnt know what lego or shotgun or uwu would be like, but just combining the chaos to see. Plus with normal Rounds, people tend to be scared to add the crazy new stuff in a really good or almost done build. But with Draft you couldnt really tell what was good or bad.

I wouldn’t recommend playing draft if you don’t know the cards, and how they work with each other. We mostly like to play draft because you don’t get interrupted every round, and because we like to stick to and use our builds for multiple rounds. Eitherway I had fun watching something different, though perhaps stick to the mods you know if you guys ever play draft again.

So I think what happened, please correct me if I'm wrong, the first card Price chose had a 'Max 1 Ammo' debuff which is probably why the shotgun card didn't work.

1st card was shotgun the second was bolt rifle which limit shots to 1 ammo meaning price fire at max 1 shot at any point for there be bullets you must have ammo for those bullets.

Perfect example of this is star a card that shoots a lot bullets but take away a lot ammo to do so as that reason why ash only fire 3 times at most.

There are probably settings that allow you to adjust how many cards appear and can be chosen for the draft mode, but be sure to experiment with other modes as well!

I'm commenting after Ash picked target bounce and I'm gonna guess it's gonna kill him at least three times xD Edit: target bounce killed/helped to kill Ash at least 11 times, while it helped Ash kill 3 other players. I agree on the episode overall being on the slow side. It's fun seeing builds mature throughout the game & get a glimpse of what each new card does as it gets added rather than once it's all together

i didn't want to skip the card selecting part so I know whats happening, so instead i turned the speed up to 2x and ash saying yum yum no crumbs in 2x speed has given me new purpose.

Draft mode seems like it'd be really fun with just a bunch of the Arcana cards and nothing else, except for maybe the base card pack. That way, we get the typical craziness that a normal Rounds game would give, and the fun of watching you guys learn to counter each others' builds at the same time. Either way, this episode was a lot of fun, and I'd like to see you guys maybe try it again (alongside some of those other modes too!)

So this is my favorite game to watch you guys play these days, that said I was not a fan of this episode at all. I find this draft mode really boring to watch, the best part of this game is seeing your builds evolve every round. Wasn't a fan of the meme cards either. The new levels were nice though.

The draft mode was alright, but I think this had maybe too many rounds, so you ended up just shooting each other with the same builds for a long time. However, I do like how it meant you relied on skill more rather than bonkers builds and hoping to survive.

I like the draft. It lets you plan a build and standard deathmatch gets broken when you get to everyone with 10 cards. Some of the other game modes might be cool too. The new cards are awful though.

Most of the new cards are really balanced around the normal rounds game, but there are some which would be GREAT in this Draft mode (thinking specifically about one where if you're losing it gives you some better stats to catch up)

Not a fan of the Draft mode. Takes too long to get started, the builds aren't as good as "normal" play mode, and I also prefer your builds getting upgraded as the game goes on instead of having one build for the entire game.
