I think aenna had dazzle but her heart thumps meant that she dealt damage in 6 bursts and EACH BURST activated dazzle again, which meant she basically stasis'd anybody she shot for long enough for her to shoot again and then... Yeah, that happened.

What I've learned from wearing glasses for 20 years and trying several different styles in that time, is it's best to just go with comfort rather than style. Thick solid plastic temples/arms that are one smooth single piece without extra material on the tips, solid plastic nose pads without pad arms, these spread/smooth out the contact points on your head so they don't create pressure after extended wear, and are also easier to keep clean. I started off with stylish thin metal frames, the nose pads would dig into my nose after wearing them all day, the thin metal temples would dig into the sides of my head and the copper would quickly start getting rusty and leave green stains on my face. Years of regret. I've had my big plastic glasses for a few years now and it's so much better. It's like switching from a rigid kitchen chair to a big plush sofa recliner.

I wanna say it was spark combined with bullet time and homing that paved the way. Spark I think had the stun, but it’s messes up your shots, but bullet time and homing fixed that. After that she was able to get massive self healing and finally the All was the real nail in the coffin. Most of it was a simple boost, but it also added a extra block and extra bullet shot giving her more heals and more likely to chain the stuns.

I would say it can off blue color translucent frame would work perfect for Ash. It will keep his face fully visible but give a hint of something there.

regarding price's complaint of ruining a build when picking a card, a lot of roguelikes and roguelites allow you to skip upgrades, making it not mandatory to take one. in the case of rounds, that would mean you are not forced to pick a card, which to me makes a lot of sense - you might be missing out on a card, but your build is kept intact, and that could be a big difference. if there's a mod out there that adds that option, i think it'll be worth looking into
