1: they even still use him in pro league, so no, he’s not the most useless operator in the game (that’s actually clash, whose win ratio is so abysmal she barely fits on the chart). He’s actually quite effective in the right hands and very easily counters shield operators. 2: they can hear him when he jumps if you don’t have good teammates or timing. Jump when there’s noise or tell your teammates to open fire right as you jump. I get that he’s the stereotypical muscle man, but you have a brain. Use it.

Pro league is completely different to public ranked and quick play and they actually communicate (most ppl dont bother to call out when solo and if i 5 stack I just get shit talked on when they leave me in a 1v5 even though they are 0 and 3 and died in the 1st 30 seconds. Because ppl are so toxic and ruin this game) 2. If you have to wait for someone to shoot or u have to rely on a teamate to use your passive then its just unreliable and not worth. 3. I know there are worse operators who have worse win ratios but we're talking about Oryx so we can't use other operators to back up our points. 4. No need to be aggressive and tell me to use my brain. This is a good debate. I'm a support player so I don't mindlessly run into site as Ash and get one pick then die and then moan at my teamates. So i use my brain (maybe i could have said Oryx is one of the most useless ops instead) so sorry if you took it literally. In conclusion, yes ur points are valid but they only work if you have the dream team and in 99.999999% of public, normal games you'll have toxic dickheads on your team. So I think hes just not reliable enough as you have to rely on teamates and you waste 5HP just to make a rotate when you could easliy get a shotgun to do so. And you have a slight delay to pull out his weapon after the dash so you cant flank through walls right next to them Just to remind everyone who reads this comment, always use your bloody drones

@@GoblinShawk4620 1: fair, but the charts also don’t take into account pro league and he still has a higher pick rate than almost any other roamer (solis being the main exception). 2. You don’t have to. You can’t hear his grunt from more than 10-15 meters away, you’d only need your teammates to create a distraction if the enemy is within that radius. At which point, they likely can see said hatch regardless and you’ll probably end up with a face full of lead anyways. 3. You literally said he is the most useless operator in the game. That is categorically false as there are worse operators. If I cannot talk about said worse operators, how exactly do you expect me to prove he isn’t the worst operator? If he is the only sample size then yeah, he’s the worst. That also fundamentally means he’s the best operator since he’s the only one we can talk about. 4. My sense of humor tends to be dry and sarcastic. Hard to portray lack of seriousness in text format. Sorry about that. Fair enough. That being said, something you might want to take into account is this: he actually has a higher pick rate than many of the famous roamers including caveira, pulse, and vigil. If he were truly worthless, why would his ranked pick rate be higher than some of the others? As for the drones, LOOKING AT YOU ASH MAINS.

Oryx re-work: on charge animation, when he starts running have his arm cover his face with some sort of steel bullet proof shield. Then, have him duck his head behind that metal shield. This would be placed on his arm and would shield his face and upper torso forcing attackers to shoot at his feet like shield ops. This would also justify the idea of him breaking through walls, since he has a metallic object capable of bulldozing through them. His gadget would more or less be a miniature metallic battering ram that would attach to his outfit. Then, remove his health loss all together.

So i play a lot of oryx not enough to call him my main but just enough to understand him as a operator have fun with him and actually get kills a lot and i though that they maybe should give him ability so that when he runs though the wall he looses 10hp but after some time if he doesnt take any damage his health goes back to how it was before he ran through the wall also maybe give him some damage resistance when he rushes it doesnt have to be crazy like hes a fucking tank but just to make him feel more usefull

I think to balance it out tho , if he was to jump through a reinforced hatch he would lose maybe like 10-15hp or even make him get a bit disoriented similar to Ella concussion mine effect but this would only happen on a reinforced hatch

And saying that this "rework" is good then you're bronze 3 cause anybody over plat should be able to react in time to the noise before you can aim in, still makes no sense and still doesn't make sense realistically, but r6 is far from that ig.
