In my opinion it is really overpowered and quite unfair because it creates unwinnable situations for the survivor. That beeing said survivors have deadhard, which is just as or even more disgusting. Since I run into at least 2 deadhards every game I think it feels justified to run it even though its poorly balanced. I hope it gets a pass when all the other perks do, if a player wins or looses is far to dependent from their perks currently, they shouldnt have as big of an impact

It prevents killers from destroying a pallet when they hit someone right before they reach it, which otherwise would be very strong. Realizing the killer has it, survivors can just hold W and not loop as well. The value of the perk is at the decision of the survivors.

Some people may not like it, but I have always said (for years now; holy crap, as it been that long?) that those kinds of "unintended interactions" are where DbD really shines, like Impossible Skillcheck Doctor and Tier 4 Myers. Accidental Synergy is a really compelling trope in this game. And at this point? I hope they just make every thing crazy and OP. DbD is at its best when stuff is just wild like that.

Yeah the new perk seems especially good on killers that survivors like to pre-drop pallets against. And the only reason those games were as close as it was is D3AD didn't do any slugging. If he had slugged a bit more to keep the pressure up he would have gotten rid of pallets even faster and slowed down gens in the meantime even more.

I might try this on Vanity Mirror Myers. He still has a terror radius, even with Monitor and Abuse, but he struggles in loops after that first sneaky hit.

Dear D3AD Plays, could you try super speed hillbilly or blight with pain res, dead man's switch, BBQ and chili and agitation? I call it the "Get off my gen!" build. Down a survivor, get to the nearest scourge hook asap, find the next survivor and sprint to them to scare them off a gen asap, chase, and repeat. Survivors expose themselves with BBQ or pain res, hide in a locker (not doing gens) or are on nearby gens, which creates the potential to proc dead man's when you scare them off those. I think this is a good build for keeping up momentum and consistently applying pressure on survivors.

You probably already know this, but if the games get too tough, you can always try to lower your MMR by either farming with the survivors, or just hooking everyone once, but then let them go at the end. For me, even though I've been playing for a while now, I can't play as often as I would like, so sometimes I just farm with the survs so my MMR gets back down to my level. Long story short, you get some weaker survs a few times in a row, your MMR skyrockets, and then suddenly you are against 4mans that know exactly what they are doing, and that's no fun for someone like me, so I do my best to evade that until I have more free time to compete. What I am trying to say is that there are ways around the unfair MMR system, and I wish you luck out there in the Fog!

With this perk, they have to drop the pallet first and then vault it meaning they can potentially get another loop out of it. With Blood Favor you eliminate a step. I am shocked this works on M2 attacks though.

Only downside of the perk is that when ur terror radius is hidden, the perk doesn’t activate. That or dbd is just super buggy on console, probably both.

It doesn’t matter that it tells thhe survivors, the tiles don’t get weaker for the killer, only the survivor because now they have less options. If you don’t vault, you’ll get hit, but if you do, the pallet breaks. The only downside of this is that it’s 20 seconds; some killers have to build bloodlust at safe pallets which can take like 30 sec to force a vault.
