The corruptors are mid tanky unit.. something that I try to state is that, their effective means to remove buildings is really good, if you know where the enemy army is, like the case with hte nexus and 20+ corruptors... 5-6 corruptors can take out a nexus very fast, through a battery overcharge... If he made 3 groups... of 7 and the last group whatever + so 7 7 plus7x or 7 7 7 x... and did the same move, essentialy you can take out all the nexus' in one fell swoop, unless there is some defence, this pretty much terminates the economy of the enemy, then retreat and regroup, its really effective, since, there is no defence unless you have static defence, turrets and cannons. the dps delay on corruptors is unique, but its a strat I haven't used, if you have abudance of corruptors without a use, you split them up for base riads, so only one group can be ffective attacked, or defended against and then retreat, but you will get the other bases.. plus they are flyers... so they cna typically boogie out fairly fast... meh.

They kill buildings faster than brood lords now, and you can attack multiple buildings simultaneously, one of my favorite units since WoL, even then they were good scouts, they pretty much ignore static. Can't do anything against mines however, or literally anything that shoots up, Stalker Archon kills them pretty fast. Trap didn't bring enough and got his detection sniped, voids or more Archons, especially more detection, would have stood a better chance.

Trap was 2/3 the way through his +1 air upgrade when Shin's lurker/hydra push through the center took out the cyber core at the nat. I get wreckd against lurkers. I feel better that even the pro Toss Koreans struggle to deal with them too.

To negate some of the lurker fire have an arrow position. Then have the first units shift move back and fourth to draw out the lurker shots who attack the closest unit as the reat attack from the flank. Always have one orical followimg behind not in a unit formation for a trap set up for retreat or to see un seens units. Have a hit squad of four void beams roaming the map from one base to another just to pick off larva and drones. Have the mother ship be a free recall back to base or attack behind enemy line. Fake a base trade and destroy the production of the enemy then recall home to save yours. Have gateway walls at every base to be the buffs for said pushes. Protoss is the best git and run. Never and i mean never go full skytoss with carriers always a L. The use of two tempest with ever unit comp is good. So close to being the perfect protoss just have to have back up plans and traps lots of traps.

@@memeier9894 I'd say Zerg has the least consistent detection once you get to the midgame. Toss is the most disadvantaged early game because you're normally not getting cannons unless cheese is involved, but they can get either obs or oracle revelation. Zerg only has spores and overseers. That being said, in ZvZ you would have lurkers of your own. Obviously, Terrans have their scans, and their bajillion CC lategame builds are a part of why muta-ling-bane has been making a comeback recently.

@@toadofsteel Zerg has a hundred thousand overlords floating around to spot everything... what do you mean? Early Terran has poor detection, but it isn't as critical as late game detection, where they then have the most. Oracles get knocked out so easily, observers also, plus you usually only have 2 or 3... 4 at most, and that just doesn't cut it.

Watching game after game recently, protoss have very little defense against a lurker / corruptor army. Although the zerg have the least amount of detection in the late game, the lurker is one on the only (correct if wrong) stealth unit that does aoe ground damage. Sending 2 lurkers to every Protoss expansion is almost impossible to deal with, as they can sit outside of cannon sight and rip trough buildings and probes. Templar are not great against them as they have to get within Lurker range to storm and often die, and 3 storms to kill a lurker. Air toss does not do enough damage quickly enough to kill them assuming the observer didn't immediately die to corruptor and air toss must decide whether to hit lurkers first or zerg detection first (to protect their observers). Carriers are not viable as lurkers tend to put protoss on defense and vipers will eventually whittle that down, colossus are not viable as they are subject to both corruptors and vipers. When lurkers are put on the field with the games I've seen, 95% it wears down protoss to a loss and the have to count on the Zerg to make a big mistake. This is coming from a newbie viewer, so I don't know how accurate my assessment is...

the corruptors can also just fly over the army, causing protoss to storm themselves. Once zerg detection come in, they immediately auto the observer if it some how survives the protoss storming their own army.

Game 1 .. maybe its my diamond inner pleb speaking, but what have really the blink stalkers achieved here? He just lost a fair number of them to lings, thats seems the total, and they werent even able to keep the 4th alive. I feel like blink stalkers + oracles so often end up like this nowadays, i feel the style is overrated... Wouldnt it be much better if he went for the solid steady primitive Chargelots/Archons/Immortal. I think he would have had a fair chance to kill Shin immediately and even if not, he would have kept the 4th alive for sure.

Unfortunately for a couple weeks last year I tried "non clickbait" titles, and new viewers & subscribers (that haven't clicked on a video before) dropped nearly 75%. Regular viewers kept watching at a similar rate, but many would never have become regular viewers without that first video. It feels like the only way to reach a new audience, especially those that don't know SC2 very well is with more...dramatic topics. Distasteful but effective, like Ghosts
