Before anybody calls it a CoS ripoff, here are some main differences. Harp Isles (HI) Focuses mainly on the alien, lore, and visual aspects of the game (as far as I can tell.) CoS is mainly PvP and kaiju aspects. HI also has a much more ‘realistic’ look for its creatures compared to CoS. The landscape also seems to lean more towards realism as well.

Maybe there will be options to optimize performance in certain ways, how it will look, appreciate, lighting and those things I suppose (as they mention, they seem to take the issue of performance very seriously) unlike cos, this does not seem to matter to them, I have a not so good range pc and although I have done everything to improve performance nothing has really improved, even my cell phone also has terrible performance, the performance options that cos offers do not help at all, it is very limited and you can't avoid the lag and how stuck it can become sometimes for no apparent reason, for my part I hope that perhaps Harps Isles may have a more extensive range of options to be able to play comfortably and avoid these lag problems, although seeing it it seems to focus more on this area than the cos development team itself. :

I'm hoping that the gameplay for Harp is a bit more balanced than CoS' and I hope they maintain some semblance of a design rule seeing how this is an alien world. As much as I love CoS I have to admit, the fantastical designs mixed with the scifi designs throws me off a bit - I'll see an alien looking creature and then BOOM Dragon/Dinosaur or a weird reference to another creature in pop culture media.

if sonar adds a second map change making it 2 times or 3 times bigger, bushes that are moved by wind or that move when u walk in them, more realistic shadows plus creatures shadows, crouching and maybe mor disasters, new eatable plants, death animations, new plants moved by wind carnivorous plants that can kill tier 1 and tier 2 creatures with the ability to get out of the plants by clicking fast until u click like idk 50 times and u have 20 or 30 seconds to escape more complex agging system and more realistic growing time, fresh models and animations, better graphics it will be ubeatable on roblox also sonar studios could take inspiration of the games ui and menu cuz it looks better than in cos, plus maybe the map look

It won't be as much of an issue IF the combat is more balanced anyway. Kossing in CoS is really easy and usually low risk because you can literally take down huge creatures as a tier 1 (as well as mixpacking which I'm not sure if this will be a festutr in Harp or not, correct me if I'm wrong.) If Harp focuses more on realism rather than constantly adding new creatures that get more and more overpowered like CoS then hopefully it won't be as easy for people to kos therefore not making it as fun as just playing the game normally.

One thing you should note is every creature in the game will have it's own set of attacks with each creature needing a to easy 2 but they can have more .One I saw was like a deep sea fish with a large light eye bulb and it had a special blinding attack with the light.

This looks so darn good, I really wanted this typa survival game but with this detailed and mystic looking visuals, COS is also great but the map feels extremely flat and more social looking. Can't wait to try it out when it releases!

Depends but probably not that much. Cos is more of a sit around and chill type of game and get angry when you get killed and yell koser. Cos is more for creativity with materials skin creation and how the designs are all over the place , like a deviant art Roblox . HI is more realistic and focused on survival

Cos is losing its spark, the updates are repetitive, the creatures are becoming pay to win, and the gameplay itself is becoming boring unless you Kos which is also becoming boring, it has too many bugs that are being ignored, the events aren’t even events they’re just another reason to grind, hopefully this game can be better than Cos in those ways and more

@@KenanLaudat-tp3bp some people are so blind they dont see that It is , the creatures look like they are pulled out of sonaria and modified oh and something about the map looks REALLY SIMILAR OH YEA THATS THE COS MAP WITH A FEW LAKES PLANTS AND THE COS SHAPED ARCHES and there are carcasses that look like realistic versions of the ones found in cos with an option to EAT AND PICK UP CHUNK , the attack button is taken from cos ipad / phone version with a few lines added to it . They have a water and food system that depleets the same way as cos , and a mini map ( like cos ) ( the last concept looks like a turgeon ) , they will have nests ( cos has nests ) climbing ( cos has climbing ) packs ( cos has packs ) event creatures ( guess what ! cos also has those ) abilities ( cos has abilities ) they will have tiers ( again cos has those ) it will have lore ( cos also has lore )
