I feel like Myth should have gotten the red gourd from Hirata estate. Not only does it cure and resist burn buildup but it also gives you resistance to fire damage, seems like it could have been useful for the flying fire guy.

the good thing about ichimonji double isn't the damage, it's the posture and stun. it cancels most bosses attacks in a similar way the mortal blade does also, if im not mistaken, getting the mortal blade before you beat genichiro soft locks the game at some point down the line

Praying Strikes has a similar purpose. Praying Strikes charged attacks and combos mixed together ruins most bosses. Genichiro and anyone with a spear is especially easy to bully with them. It doesn't work on some things like Lone Shadows, Samurai minibosses, and Shura ending Isshin, because they either dodge out of it or have a reactionary attack that ignores the "uncounterable" nature of praying strikes. Mixing in charged strikes can help but it's better to just hit them with ichimonji or normal sword strikes.

Ashina Castle, where you fought Blue double slash guy. All the people wearing the same blue garb drop pellets AND divine confetti. Add in Demon Bell for better yields, add in the Senpou loot increases and greed balloons to go ham. Loop from the first statue to the dojo, rest up there and run it back to that first statue, the one that has the gourd seed in the chest. 1 hour of that will make you set for a long time

Hey mythymoo I hope you're doing good dude great video as always, I just wanted to tell you about a challenge I was doing a week ago in sekiro and it's called (no upgrades challenge) basically you have to play on new game and never upgrade your attack power and never use prayer beads to upgrade your health and posture, you can't also use gourd seeds to upgrade your healing gourd, you are only allowed to use skill books to get new skills but that's it, I hope you give it a try someday, I sure the hell suffered alot doing it in the past week

Quite a few added mini bosses and the curse status effect is pretty annoying in LMTSR I find, but the main bosses are pretty well done. I prefer resurrection's mini bosses and level traversal overall tho, I think it does more interesting stuff with the mini bosses than just adding status effects to attacks, hyperarmour and bloated health bars.

Myth, those moves like Geni's big slashes do chip damage if you dont perfectly deflect them, so theres a decent use for the umbrella. It has a much wider deflect window so you could pull it out when something does a move like that and then counterattack

Pro tip for the nightjar ninjas: Get Senpou Praying Strikes: Exorcism and the spear. Stab them from outside their melee range, drag them into you, do the praying strike combo. If they stay in your melee range, then just keep spamming praying strikes. If they back off, yoink them back and continue body slamming them. The spear and praying strikes are super underrated IMO. You can bully so many enemies with them because the "uncounterable" nature of praying strikes combined with the fact it can interrupt attacks makes it very silly. The charged strike is capable of interrupting a lot of enemy attacks that you can normally only dodge too. Lady Butterfly, Genichiro and Sword Saint Isshin among some other bosses can be bullied to hell with a mixture of charged and combo strikes. It doesn't work on Shura ending Isshin and some random other bosses though, who can counter it anyway (in Isshin's case, he just dodges it randomly).

I think you cant get the fire umbrella until later in the game (at least in vanilla sekiro) try dodging forward when genichiro jumps to shoot the fan of arrows, and when he jumps and shoots 4 consecutive arrows try deflecting the first three to dodge the last one, its surprising the amount of s you have when you dodge forward

The stab and run away combat style vs LMTSR bosses will be iffy. Might be best learning to dance around your opponents with dodging, and only parrying when needed.

MythyMoo. Next time, bind your dodge key to your parry key. Your brain will think it's parrying and it will grant you a perfect Dark Souls dodge. Doing this will teach you how to side step these offensive bosses and not take fire / poison damage through the perfect parrying. The bosses in this mod get inhumanely hard, but they are still fair. Victory comes at a price, and that price is a steep learning curve. You do have what it takes. Keep at it!

Playing this mod now and extra pissed at this lite guy mini boss, there was an update at some point that made it so the shrunken do not dot that much damage to the dogs, it takes about 12 to kill one of them now, or shrunkens were made weaker as a whole, not sure but this guy is unbelievable to beat now!

Mods like this really highlight what a masterclass From Software is at difficulty. Whoever made this mod confuses bullshit with difficulty. Sekiro's combat is designed for 1 on 1 combat. Adding multiple enemies to a scenario is such a cheap way of increasing the challenge. The difference is that From Software wants you to finish their game. Whoever made this? They clearly want you to be frustrated and stop playing

This mod seems absolutely obnoxious. I've seen plenty of late game footage of it and its pretty anime, but it also seems incomprehensible cause so much shit is going on. Now that I'm seeing the early game it seems even worse. 3 stages on everyone cause fuck the player for existing (keep in mind there's only *3* bosses in the base game with 3 stages, all in the endgame and one of them is optional.) Not to mention *4* stage boss fights as seen with Lady Butterfly because... *reasons???* Even the mini bosses as well, it just seems ridiculous. Making this loser nightjar necessary and boxing you in and giving him 3 stages and giving him so many mobs in the arena and also giving him *fucking explosive dogs?*
