Even if you don't like PVP I believe it's needed. It adds a element to games that others are lacking. It also effects the meta and gives reason for other ships to shine. Only PVE would turn into just mindlessly flying back and forth with zero risk. No matter how good the servers are (in any game) AI can be cheesed and gamed. Rep is def needed, for sure everyone agrees. I like that I can just google "Best way to make money in SC" then just sit in-between the path. That being said, super slow flybys, seeing explosions, 50 ships parked, then trying to sell your cargo still is insane. You don't have to land and you can sell at other spots, but you know we need that highest selling price :)

You'll see a ton of people just walking around exploring. I certainly don't plan to buy and trade anything for a long time, just seeing the places with my ships and 20K aUEC. lol I may bring a gun or not, but I would prefer to find one and use that instead. Dude, I don't even know the controls or UI anymore, for ships or on foot. You think most of us coming back will know where NPCs live and which will agro? Last time I really played must have been 2 years ago. Oh no, NPCs teleport here too???? NOOOO. :D Yeah, for ships being stolen, I'd just Backspace and claim it, until the game respects my time more without game breaking bugs. I get like 1 hr at a time, which is SC is 3.75 minutes really. So far every time I played in the PTU, something that broke the game happened, like being stuck behind a door, elevators not working, or falling through the planet.
