Better Option IMO: Get any shield from Divided Temple (Vix Lunaris, Invictus Solaris, Magna Eclipsis) with a +1 socketed gems corruption. You now get +3 to all socketed gems. You get +3 to the Brand Recall vs +6 like you do with Pragmatism , but the 3 levels you add to both the Empower and Enhance make up for it for the same total CDR, and you get to keep your 6l Chest slot! Adding levels to Empower, Enhance, or Brand Recall are all interchangable. You get 8% CDR no matter which you increase. Below are the total levels you add with each option: Uncorrupted Pragmatism: +6 (6 to Recall) Corrupted Pragmatism: +9 (7 to recall, 1 each to supports) Uncorrupted Shield: +6 (2 each to Recall and both supports) Corrupted Shield: +9 (3 each to Recall and both supports)

Great vid with great info! I’ve always been amazed at what people can come up with. I wouldn’t doubt a version of this would make for a great BoTW if GGG makes one soon. I’ve been loving this league, more than others. I’ve been having a blast after coming to the realization that zero investment or low investment strats on low maps like the T7/T11 strat that became popular…. Now there’s even zero investment fully scoured white map T1 strats that are lucrative. This opened up a whole new approach to using builds in the past that went the way of abandoned builds or just used for a bit for leveling while I farm out the gear for a heavy hitter that can handle T16’s at full juice. I have a blast with making use of HoT Autobomber at full speed. The most fun I’ve had with it since it’s lucrative where it is; in lower maps. I’m clearing maps so fast since it’s explody and there isn’t much danger since HoTAB is very squishy. Not something u can throw together without huge investment to be viable in higher content. So there’s this meta for these builds and it’s awesome getting to use the build where in the past it’s been a wish to be able to keep using it. I made and tested all the PBrand variants and I’m now burnt out on brands for now. Though since I have the gear I might play around with what u show in the vid. Thanks for the good stuff!

Note on the Saboteur version (I have played this build as leaguestarter all the way to quest Eater/Exarch), the build has a lot of jankiness in it due to triggerbots often being stuck behind walls or on cliffs especiallly if you frostblink/flamedash through those walls and cliffs. Because the Brand Recall will be casted on the triggerbots' position, you won't be able to kill any mobs on your side until you run far enough to despawn the triggerbots to your position. Testing with *convocation needed for this. You are also bound to triggerbots' whims as they sometimes run to random mob packs, leaving you vulnerable to mob packs that are in your immediate vicinity. I think Hierophant is the more consistent, solid option for this (also because Hiero builds defense easier) The best use case for the Saboteur version is Pinnacle fights or boss rushing. Boss rushing maps for this league is Park/City Square, of which bosses are on open ground, so the build does well there.

I'd agree the Sabo version is definitely much better suited for bossing. I wish they would improve the Triggerbot AI/movespeed or at least provide a skill on the notable itself which is basically just convocation but for the triggerbots only so you don't lose a socket. They could also give the triggerbots the same 'tech' that some floating minion type units have so they can freely move up/down terrain, it would make the playstyle so much better

This use case seems like it would work well with Surgeon General's Eye of Winter Brand Recall Triggerbot build, albeit you'd have to give up the defensive Loreweave + Eternal Damnation combo it uses. He also chose to go Assassin for more damage scaling, but you can do the build just as well (and cheaper cos of no Forbidden jewels!) by sticking with the Saboteur setup, especially if you go non-crit with it. That said I'm rather doubtful it's worth it given all the defensive power you're giving up just to scale the cooldown recovery.

I get 1.122 cd with a trigger weapon. The trick is that, if I have a second brand recall in a crafter trigger weapon (1 with 4cd, another with 8), every 2 casts I cast double, so with 7 brands, every 1.122s I cast 7 brands, and every 2 casts I cast 28 brands. Given the numbers, you do 1.2121 effective casts per second (14 brands is a effective cast), and mine does 1.32, simply because whatever the 4s wands trigger rate is, I then multiply it by 1.5 to account for the double casts. IDK if it's a bug but yeah, both brands recalls have separate cooldowns and trigger separately. Bonus, I can trigger them casting the brand itself, no need to mix wand attacks. Cool idea but weaker than what we had before.

I did that exact build as my starter this league. Was lotsa fun, got a +2 duration carcass jack since they're relatively cheap and brands have a duration tag. Did some tainted currency crafting once I could afford it to 6-link it, but it was strong as hell even before that. When I was done, I got to 550k per brand on PoB with my non-crit version using EO, which had a lot of room for optimization still, but with some more investment Sandstorm Visage skyrockets the dps even further. With all the aoe available to sabo and carcass jack, each brand was pretty much screenwide too, so I could with certainty that each one was hitting and shotgunning. Really fun stuff.

Going the route with pragmatism means you don't need to use 2 wands which opens up your options somewhat

@YPchicken it also means that unless you use some OP gloves or helmet you are forced to use a 2h weapon because you lost your chest 6L. Also, trigger crafts also show up on daggers and maces and stuff, not just wands. You basically only need an unveiled trigger and a crafted trigger. Getting a good unveiled weapon will be hard by a crafted one is easy, you just need a free prefix.

So the chest in this example is most importantly providing 80% brand recall CDR. Brand recall already has 158% CDR on Sabo and 228% CDR on Hiero, with just ashes+passives. Using the formula for CDR and cooldown, the chest gives 31% more activations on Sabo and 24% more activations on Hiero. That might be worth it on a build that ONLY deals damage through recalling, but probably isn't worth the chest slot otherwise.

on maw of mischief with the new spectre that respawns it is insane, you can hit dotcap prety easily with it, you just need to link spectra and minion life, and if you have a lvl 4 empower you can link it aswell

The better version of this setup goes Assassin with Perfect Crime forbidden jewels to grant triggerbots. You socket brand recall into a +3 sup trigger weapon with enhance and empower. The trigger doubles the recall without any damage penalty for essentially double the dps of a heiro. You also get the benefit of being able to use a good body armor. I've taken the build to ubers so the dps is decent enough. Just ends up being a clunky build because it's fully dependent on the recall to deal damage. You can't just zoom, and if you try to you would really need a good source of phasing. So it's great for bossing, bad for everything else.

Yeah there's quite a few options, Squire, Shako as you've mentioned, you could use a staff on the Hiero version, or an essence crafted Elder helmet for a pseudo 6 link. It's a fun body armour to look at all the options you could explore!

This may be a really cool addition to Wardloop builds, which could have a 6-link brand inside of Annihilating light and brand recall in body armor. @@NathanielKuros Cause each brand triggers the spell, then the bots double that. So with 7 brands, you essentially get 14 brands casting spells at the location of the bots (which is usually at the enemy) on every recall.

Nobody uses it with brand recall because it's terrible. With ashes, empower 4, enhance 4 and brand recall 7, and 205fcr from the tree, you get +359% cdr. The armor with +1gem only adds 64cdr, so you can cast 64/459=14% more often. You can get so much better from a body armor.

Biggest problem with this and the reason why in practice this would feel bad (atleast for mapping) is that you still need to put your brands out manually. so you put out 7 brands, recall like 4-5 times. then your back to casting 7 brands etc. not sure if thats really worth it.

It's not that bad. The Remarkable cluster jewel notable gives you a 35% chance to place 2 brands instead of one per cast, and you can trivially stack 3 of them to get 2 brands per cast. That takes you down from 7 casts to 4. Add Spell Echo to your brand links, and now it's 2 casts to make 7 brands. While mapping, it's unlikely that you need this many brands at once though, so this is largely an optimization for bosses and on bosses they have immunity phases you can precast the brands in so it isn't a significant issue

For eblade, you only gain flat, so either you use it as an extra aura without es investment, but in that case you lose the body armour and weapons for ~400 flat damage, so in most cases it's not worth it. And you need enough es to cast it. And for actual es stacking it's worse because either you lose utula's or ivory tower.

how are you playing energy blade without a decent es chest ...? Like 95% of your ES pool is the chest, typically an ivory tower. Also all that does is make it so energy blade steals less of your ES, but the lack of a real chest means you'd have lower ES overall anyway

There's definitely a bit of clunkiness there, you'll want to be scaling duration up a bit and you can consider using some medium clusters with Chip Away & Remarkable so that you have some double brand cast chance and even more CDR on recall

When the brands attach you deal one, at most 2 brands damage at the same time, recasting the brand doesn't make it hit any faster. When you brand recall you can overlap all 7 or 8 brands at the same time and deal bursts of massive damage.

@@deveyous6614 the brands still have like a 7 second duration or whatever so you need to cast them often. It's nothing close to an autobomber. This is primarily for burst damage on bosses. Your mapping playstyle is going to look the same as any other brand build

you definitely want to be a saboteur (or get forbidden flame and flesh) for this, because brand recall can allow for shotgunning, having triggerbots through perfect crime allows you to get twice as many brands recalled on top of you.

For the single socket setup it is yep, but you can't do the slinger tech with crest, and the setup with the corrupted pragmatism with empower/enhance 4 is better than a perfect crest(which is also very expensive). Of course, losing body armour is a big deal, as I mentioned in the video

With arcanist brand it's even more broken. Especially with arcanist brand + eye of winter that can be socketed in a pseudo 6link in gloves and nimis. SIngle target is stupid, trigger cascade + retrun proj and enough proj speed is insane for both clear and single target. Beware of your GPU tho because it's a shit show.

It's +12 gem levels, -2 per socketed, so 1 socketed gem = +10 levels, 6 socketed gems would be no additional levels

There is nothing that "insane" with this unique. If you use 4 sockets, it's strictly worse than Dialla's (which also gives +4 from main skill and Empower in main sockets). It's a good low investment body armour to start maps or even Act 6 with.

Except: -Dialla's is comparatively more expensive (90c for an uncorrupted, no 6L one, compared to pragmatism only requiring 2-4 sockets at 5c) -Pragmatism has up to 1.2K armour and up to 100 mana -You don't need empower unless it's LV 4+ to gain a benefit on pragmatism (6+ div) -2 levels increasing CDRR by 16% means you also need LV 4+ enhance for any benefit on pragmatism (9+ div) -what would you even 6L in a Brand Recall Dialla setup? Spellslinger, Empower, Enhance, then what? You could 2L another thing I guess Yes, diallas might have a higher ceiling due to +2ing empower and enhance, but it's much cheaper to just go with 2L brand recall - spellslinger on pragmatism with competitive results (since CDRR has diminishing returns)

No offense i love your videos. Youre a genius, but you’re incorrect, it is impossible to get +12 to gems they way they have built this unique, at max you would get only +10 to gems because that first gem counts. I only tried it out the first time i got it as a drop from KOTM around 3 weeks ago but i didnt see any patch notes indicating any changes.

To be honest I'm a bit confused as to what you're referring to, at no point in the video do I say that the unique grants a single gem 12 levels. At the start of the video I read the modifiers exactly as they appear on the body armour, then provide an example of a normal 6 link gaining 12 gems levels from the first modifier and losing 12 gem levels from the second(6 socketed gems = -12 gem levels). I'm very aware that a single gem gains 10 levels when socketed, as you can see the first time I talk about Brand Recall, I mention that a level 7 Brand Recall socketed in Pragmatism will gain 10 levels and be level 17 (2:00)
