5:53, you said you want a story so here one is. Baron and his Brigade were half swimming, half walking through the murky waters of the North Korean swamp, they were exhausted from the long march that they had taken from base camp, they were planning on intercepting a convoy of NK soldiers, they were warned that the convoy would be difficult to destroy but nothing was too hard for Baron. The water around Baron reached above his hip and he strode through the water with great difficulty, he could hardly see 5 meters ahead of himself as a thick fog lay over the swamp, the only noise Baron could hear was the rippling of water as his men followed him. Just then Baron saw a bubble come up to the surface of the water. That only meant one thing. "AMBUSH!!!!!" Shouted Baron at the top of his lungs. Just as Baron said that, a NK soldier burst through the surface of the water in front of him, Baron didn't hesitate as he pulled his 9mm Block machine pistol from its holster at his waist, he unloaded the mag into the soldier before he could even take a step. Baron could hear his men scream around him, he turned around but it was too late, they were all dead. A 30 of them. He turned back around and started running. He dropped the pistol. He had one mission and he was going to go through with it. He could hear the Nk following behind him. He could feel that there was a slight slope going up so he continued on. Just then Baron came out of the water. He ran another few meters and turned to face the NK soldiers, he was so exhausted. He took out his combat knife from its sheath at his waist just as the first NK charged at him with a bayonet. He side stepped, grabbed the barrel of the gun and thrust his knife into the NK's throat. He held onto the gun turned around and tried to fire, but it was jammed from being in the water, no wonder they were using bayonets. He tensed with the rifle in hand, the next soldier charged at him but Baron twirled out of its way and stabbed it in the back. But while Baron was distracted a NK soldier had snook up on him. It put it's hand around Barons neck, just as another soldier grabbed his arms, but Baron wasn't about to be captured so he lashed out with his foot and hit the person who was holding his arms, then he bit into the NK's arm that was around his neck, he must have hit an artery or vein as blood squirted out its arm and into his face. The NK let go and Baron fell to the floor, his face covered in blood. Baron stood up reluctantly and looked around him are the NK soldiers, who were covered in green, he knew he was screwed so he pulled out two grenades and pulled the pins, he let go of the grenades and fell back down into the ground and closed his eyes but a tear from his left eye managed to escape, 'it will all be over soon' he thought, and it was. And that's why your troops should stay green, or maybe green to honour Baron as his face was covered in blood.

Baron you should aim the mortar in the first choke point and change the position of the sniper tower because it was being picked off in the cpu defense by sniper dude.Don’t upgrade your HQ instead upgrade your defense and your walls so you will last longer and GET MORE KILLS

As if I got a decoy for every other kill. I only beat it - and barely - by building a chokepoint that would have them walk right in front of 3 snipers and 2 MGs before they ever get a chance to fire, and the AI regularly dropped focus fire to get past that and dismantled said chokepoint towards the end

If they hit the decoy it won't hit anything else around it, and they won't target it if there is no line of sight. They are good for drawing fire while your troops push in. And they can be useful to get RPG soldiers to kill themselves or for FF on less accurate enemy shots

1 problem with the base; there is a gap at the top of the second wall allowing them to flank your defences. Also if you want easy veterans rent the riot unit and go up against a 1-2 skull enemy (bring any extra munitions cards you have) then mass riot and the troop you want as veterans e.g. grenada launchers. Welcome

Hey Baron I have some great advice for you. You should switch to a kill zone defense then a choke point defence. I have held with 2 sniper towers, a machine gun nest, and several sandbags and it is a stubborn defence. It will also be better to have more grunts deployed than a grenade launcher. I would suggest that you only use walls to put the battle in your terms by moving the enemy where you want. If the enemy destroys a single wall where your guns and men aren't looking could mean defeat for the brigade. Also give the troops a distinctive uniform color for themselves.

Try to make the choke with the entrance in the middle. your troops must be up and down instead of middle. This also includes snipers. At least 3 machine gun bunkers must be at lvl 8 be there. The traps must be outside the Wall perimeter as long it is not in your bunkers, snipers, or troops. You may do this twice or 3 times.

You have to fix your first wall. One of your tents is getting attacked bc there is an opening near the tree. Move the sniper tower a bit so you can line up the wall better. And a tip for focus fire... you don't have to take out the AA for it to work you can use it when ever you want. Also, place the decoy as close as you can of the structure not just on the side or in front.

Also if they have another bunker behind another you can you a decoy on the back of the sniper or bunker and the one in the back will rapid fire it.

Baron, you need to use supply card with 1,000/2,000/3,000 ammo to use the rocketeer. because the rocketeers are too much ammo for you. and you cant make a good attack force. btw. you can use that tactic to by high-level troops that you want to rent. also you can upgrade your 500 ammo cards to a better one.

definitely upgrade your mortar(s) baron, as you level up the mortar it gets more rounds to shoot at one time, at level 10 it gets 6 rounds to fire before reloading, making them much more effective but definitely make sure to put them firing into choke points, so enemies are bunched up for the impacts

Build power are up by level-up & the reward from PVP, mission, CPU def etc. Base power is up by upgrade the stuff you put in your base, like sniper tower, AAs, etc.

Also, upgrading bunkers and snipers to a certain level will give them two guns. Use bunkers to soak damage with sniper behind. Once you get engineers (who can repair buildings and truck), place sandbags next to bunker so they garrison there and continually repair

Hay baron, build points are kind of tricky. You can increase your Max build points by winning it in battles, you can increase your current build points by building new buildings, also right now your mortar is very ineffective because it only shoots one mortar shell. If you upgrade your mortar to level 10 your mortar will shoot 9 shots randomly and because you upgrade it, it has increased damage as well. At 8 minutes of CPU defense, you can get barbed wire. Placing Barbwire at choke points is key to a good defense, it will slow them enough so your Bunker can mow them down with ease. Welp, that’s all I’ve got to say. Stay awesome!

Baron, upgrading the mortar boosts it's damage and increases the rounds shot per salvo. And if you get it to level 10, it'll 6 fire per salvo! It actually really needs those extra rounds, it can't hit the broad side of a barn for me

Baron when you use the rpg guys replace the grenadiers with them don't replace the rangers with them. The rpgs need to be accompanied by large groups of strong units (like rangers), or they will be taken out before dealing real dmg.

A couple of tips Baron: 1. If you're going up against a tough opponent you should take some extra ammo with you. Tougher defences = more casualties = greater ammo consumption. You need to make sure you don't run out of ammo. 2. Use your Paratroopers to flank enemy buildings from their blind spots and dont land them in the middle of the field of fire of enemy emplacements. This way you can sabotage the enemy defences from inside to help your guys on the outside push forward

Personal tip, try spawning grunts mass of them at the beginning of the battle. As they are cheap and they can be scouting party to see what's up ahead. That would save up ammunition. But that's just a tip from me :)

Tips: You should place the decoy behind some enemy cover like a tent. The unit and defense will ACUTALLY shoot the tent if it’s in the fireline. Plus it covers most of the shot so your decoy last longer for distraction

Here's a tip, (most) soldiers cannot fire behind walls. They can only shoot behind sandbags and tank traps.

Heres a tactic. Save some munition at the first wave. Cause when you run out of munition it gives you like 20-70 per time. NO. THATS NOT ENOUGH FOR A ARMY. Munition truck are also very useful. So this is what i do. I send in a medic with a team of grunt and a Grenadier. And i save up the Assault THEN WAIT til they send like a really huge wave. i send in the assult since they uses the thompson and not garand or rifles. Plus they can be used as reinforcment since they are faster than any,

Baron here’s a super base design what you should do is a maze but you need multiple walls and multiple bunkers and you make a maze and at the end of every corner should be a bunker but don’t use your best bunker use you weakest to strongest keep your strongest at your HQ and put all your snipers at your HQ to. Don’t have anti air guns it’s a waste of room they don’t do anything it’s a waste of room. Hope this helps!!

Its verry good game and iam already level 9. Baron, if you want some better defence you can use the trees(if you have any) to your advantage, because they cant fire through it and i have an EXTRA TIP for you and that is: If you place the bunker and in front of it the tank traps, You will have less chance getting hit, because they will hit 50/50 Bunker or the Tank Traps. Try it!!!!!

Baron, my tip for you, don't spread out the machine gun bunkers, if possible, get them close to each other and let them face into a tight entrance, that way when the enemy gets in the first line of your defense, they will get mowed down by heavy machine guns

Baron you should put 2 Bunkers on left and right, close the left and right lane with wall and put 2 sniper towers behind Bunkers. Then put AA gun at the mid of 2 sniper tower to cover entire area and put sandbags In depth like Battle in Kursk :).

This a comment I posted on your rangers lead the way video do the moments in blue do not apply to this one here A good base design could be to bring as much firepower to bear upon the enmy so I suggest you place a sniper tower on the top, an mg nest on the middle and another sniper tower on the bottom next up place another mg as close as possible to this formation place sandbags and tanktraps in front of the mg nests to protect them with the soldiers that take cover The main Idea is that the mg nests are the strongpoints hard to destroy while they protect the damage dealers which are the sniper towers they will pick targets and have penetrating shoots which means while the enemy is distracted attacking the mg nests and soldiers in cover the snipers will start diminishing the enemy soldiers the walls you will need to place in a way to funnel them the best way possible with this defense Ihave not lost a single defense yet the mortar and the AA gun you can choose where they will be hehe but the AA tou need to place next to place you want to protect against enemy airstrike its advisable to place it behind the suggested formation The base you see at the 22:14 moment closely resembles my base although the mortar and the AA are completely misplaced The base at 25:42 is also an interesting desing also looks like my base buuuuuuut and that is a big but there is a lack of AA support and there almost no sandbags to help screen the defenses from enemy fire if you would like you could simply copy yhis base design pop an AA gun in there somewhere and place the walls in the same way as you see there to funnel the enemy and finnaly the last touch put all the sandbags you can in front of your emplacements that should do it and it is much easier than for me to describe without a picture hehe :D

I'm brazilian and for sure I read all of that. I've been trying a lot of formations since day 1, and most of what came in my mind was that. I funnel the enemy with a misplaced wall just a little back from the main line making the enemy split by 2 lines of 1. At the edge of the wall I put 2 walls making a sideways path so they couldn't snipe my defences. I put sandbags and other defences around the kill zone, the kill zone is at the first northen tree

Heres how i think veteran works.: The veterans does not come to your base randomly. they are awarded in some battles for you. I had 2 medic and 1 Grunt survivor from my attack and they did alot of work then i think they became the veterans, Theres 3 tier of veterans. Bronze. Iron and gold. Each tier gives more effects. If it’s gold they are unlikely to die. unless. Fire support like missle. They don’t die instantly in 1 defense, however. you can risk to send them out and if they survived and gain enough exp i think it move them up a tier.

@Baron that was painfull to watch.. Decoys are great, use them to let the enemy fire on dangerous units or on his towers, if they have flammer/grenades in the vicinity. The most important use though: deploy it in the fireing arc of bunkers/sniper towers as soon as your wave of soldiers run into the shooting range to distract them. A propperly distracted bunker can't kill your soldiers for a few seconds.

Hello baron, seeing you play this game has brought a lot of noobs to game from PC and PS4, haven't seen this many base defends in a long awhile. Easy money I say, but as you know this game isn't for everyone and if you see anyone slacking or simply not playing kick them from your alliance and save a spot for your pal FreedomStar_FS from the PS4 forces. I'm not a level 50 yet but I will say I'm somewhat of a veteran to game. Such as decoys are best used on building if you see the enemy has high damage troops such as flamers or rockets. Focus fires are better than you think as well, good for destroying walls so your troops have a different path than a kill zone. Also rockets and some other troops can fire over walls and buildings to the target you used focus fire on. Soldiers that can't fire over walls and buildings will shoot everything in front of them. So you mark a AA behind a sniper they will destroy the sniper tower and then shoot at the AA. If you want better base set up a common up tier unit we use is the engineer. Put him to deploy from tents set up your sand bags and watch your damage structures repair before your eyes. Also Idk if you know this but if you have three of the same perk you can combine them to make that perk better. And baron don't forget to collect your daily rewards.

I think you should make all the uniforms the same color. but when it comes to helmets, change the color for each unit that would fit. for example. grunts and grenade launchers would have the same color helmet. however, a Medic would have a green helmet to signify he heals. perhaps a flamer would get an orange helmet because he is a flamer. I wont decide the colors for you, but that's just my suggestion.

Your got the right idea with your base tbh, you just need to upgrade your builders and yeah a few sandbags as well at the forward choke could work well, specially if you put them in front of the buildings they (and the soldiers behind them ofc) will take the hits instead of the buildings from rocketeers and the like specially. For the decoy, well yeah they are a bit hard sometimes to get to use, the troops need LoS to attack them I think which they dont have on the other side of the bunkers(snipers towers though dont seem to block LoS, so can be very good on those to place them opposite side there, and also keep in mind they will aim for the decoy itself so if they are close or against very accurate units most of the shots will hit the decoy, so well splash dmg troops are good ones to use decoys on ofc, or make sure the troops firing have a decent distance when putting them in front

Try to hold onto your decoys until the moment when your about to take heavy fire, also since your using a lot of high price troops with only a few grunts you should try to ensure the decoy is in sight of the sniper towers in order to keep those high value troops alive long enough to do some work. Ideally you want to place it so it absorbs fire from as many defence buildings as possible right at the moment where your men are arriving in thier range.

Baron, you shouldn’t be using decoys just to get the opponents troops to kill each other. Use it to distract the defenses so your troops can damage your opponents defenses without your troops getting damaged.

I got to 7:30, level 8, I had practically the same layout, what I did was I built a wall a fair bit of distance from the base, I built a wall and another wall a buildings length away, then I put an AA gun in it so they couldn't bomb the wall,

baron i think you should put the decoy behind a building so they have to shoot through it to kill it

Buy as many sandbags and tank traps and bunkers and whatever and put them facing the choke point and move the choke point to the middle so that you can fit more defences surrounding it in a crescent shape(enemies can shoot buildings over walls so put them further back and buildings can also shoot over your sandbags so overlap defences) your base is terrible compared to mine when i unlocked the cpu defend i got to 3:28on my first try

you need to get rid of that tree that next to your wall,it still make a hole enough for them to shoot though there (especially the flame thrower,not sure about the grenade launcher guy)

The mortars are amazing given the are around level 10. But it's not to hard to get them that high.

place the decoy so the target you want to get friendly fired is between the decoy and the shooter, so the target will be between the line of fire

Hey baron here is an defence idea put the anti air gun closer to the second wall you possibly be able to stop all air attacks hmmm =)

Here is atactic that kinda works for me idk if it is considered good if its a thing or if its considered bad byt when you get to a bunker use a decoy when you have a good mass of units with explosive units or something that is not just bullets and if they have incoming troops from the tents or wherever and this also works on sniper towers and if they dont have a AA gun or whatever statistics to where they dont shoot ye planes try to bomb any defenses before your troops get to them so they aern't there to long, and like I said at the beginning idk if this is known of (probaly is) and if its bad or good but an extra is to drop para's behing them when they shoot the decoy, idk I'ma go try that.

Baron, before trying upgrading your base you should upgrade all your stuff level 7 at least (and upgrade the mortar level 10) !!!

hey Baron mine wont work unless there is some one firing at it. The min also has red light that means its no ready to explode and if it turns green it is ready to explode, and the mine can friendly fire your squad so be careful o placing them. ^^

Put the anti air closer to the wall so it can cover almost your whole base

First :D you should only use one heavy type guy (rocket launcher/ grenade launcher) and change it to rangers because they can deal with infantry and structures. And hopefully i will meet you on the battlefield (with you or against you, probably against you) Great video as always

Baron you can buy units permanently and assign them to defense ( if you spam snipers on a sandbag it’s becomes a real kill zone )
