Some tips for a few of the support cards that you use in battle (lvl 18 player) (Sorry for the wall of text ahead but if you can like this comment so that Barron and everyone can see these tips.) Bombing run: Great anti-unit, not very accurate or damaging to buildings but they have a high splash damage. Use them on bases that like to spam low grade units (grunts, assault) or have them all gathered in one place Missile strike: very precise and high damage, use them on bunkers and snipers for a good starter of a fight also when you start facing players who funnel your troops via walls use rockets to open up a new way for your troops (players who do this normally won't have the alt routes covered so easy flanks will occur) Fire bomb: think of it like a little brother of the missile, it contains an splash of fire that will cause damage over time and will persist for a few seconds, sometimes when landing the fire will "hop" in a line, how long the line is will vary. Use these on low HP buildings or units as a finisher (troops caught in the fire will be stunned for a few moments use the effect as a opener on high ranked units) Tear gas: a ability that spawns a gas cloud that stuns and disables those caught in the cloud good opener to a battle with a large area of effect, use on bunkers and grouped up units to stun high priority foes and allow your units to take them out (the flamer is immune to this from what I noticed) Rally flag: this command marks a point in which your units run to at a increased speed, once there they Will wait till the flag expires. Good for gathering spread units for a push or getting units to the front line quicker Focus fire: This command marks a unit or building in which all available friendly units will fire on with extended range and will ignore line of sight rules on walls. Great for attacking units behind walls and attacking high risk targets out of range, (it's recommended to do this when you have a ton of units for maximum effect) Decoy: spawns a makeshift dummy in which all enemy units and buildings in range will fire on for a few seconds. Good distraction to get some free kills (it is possible to get grenadiers and rocketters to kill themselves or nearby units with splash damage if you place the decoy close enough)

Baron the decoys do work on defenses they were just out of range, you can also use them to make towers/soldiers attack their team mates by placing it in front of a tower wile its near other troops. Also tear gas works on bunkers and sniper towers as well as soldiers.

Baron, thanks to you I'm addicted to this game and I took the liberty to have one foot farther than you and learned some things that may be useful to you. 1)Tear gas works against machine guns as well. Use them when your troops are near the machine gun but it would be more effective if their men are closer. 2)Decoys can be used against a huge huddle of troops. They also have friendly fire and they could be killing their own men. 3)Anti Aircraft Guns are a bitch. Not only do they shoot your paratroopers down but they destroy your missiles, fire shots, and bombing runs.

Baron, you can funnel the troops in with walls and gun them down at a choke point and use anti air, also enemies' grenadiers can hit in a large area so don't place the sand bags close to each other. Also snipers will be useful later on when heroes and pyros show up as they do a lot of damage. Tent upgrades increase speed of troop spawn. at level 5 there is CPU defend where you fight endless hordes, you get ammunition and resources out of it. You can test your defense by clicking on your HQ as well.

I agree with him it is very useful I use grunts all the time but they should always be supported with grenadiers and medic and engineers to protect them

grunts are good in defense since they have low spawn cd and thus act as meat shields for your actual defense. Against high def power base they die so fast and deals almost no damage to walls. I also find that theres almost no way to bust bases with sth along 1k4 base power and above if the defender knows how to place his bunkers and chokes (and its pretty easy tbh). Most of the time you will find yourself not having enough munitions to keep up the siege.

In that second battle you placed the decoy outside the other tower's firing arc, so it didn't shoot it, and you have fewer soldiers because the gas barrels killed loads of them. Also keep the vids coming, you introduced this game to me and now I'm level 9 and loving it, my base even defended itself in my very first vs player defence, thanks Baron :D

Special Information from [#Baron_Brigade 2] Decoys can be used to make our enemys do friendly fire if you place a decoy infront of a Anti air or other buildings and a bunker is behind it the bunker will dmg the Anti-air until the decoys runs out of time. I keep ya guys updated with information to defeat our foes! All hail Baron! (btw it would be nice to have a TS3/Discord so we all could talk about strategies and tactics even improve our base's through attacking each other as friends via steam)

Baron, Upgrading you attack cards can be a huge help before taking on a tough base. You can upgrade some of your attack cards if you have 3 of the same attack card. For example, you had three 500 munitions trucks. You could upgrade that to get a 1000 munitions truck.

I told you that paratroopers are amazing hahaha also baron do not spread your emplacements I lknow the airstrikes are an issue but if you separate your structures they will get taken out one by one it is advised to position your defenses in a way that you can bring all your firepower to bear at the same time I have not lost a single defense against other players using thi strategy nice that you upgraded your grunts it is very useful my defense is placing a bunker in the middle and 2 sniper tower at its sides one down and one up to support the bunker place loads of sandbags in front of the bunker and sniper towers and the second bunker you place in front of the line of sandbags to delay the enemy and so your tents can have enough time to produce the soldiers and then they enough time to set themselves behind the sandbags At level seven gou unlock a new unit slot

Upgrading tents decreases spawn times(called cooldown). The problem with your current design is that its not particularly optimized, use A LOT more walls, and make sure not to get too many turrets beside your HQ as the hq can be hit by accident, leading to an early match over. Try to minimize cover that can be used against you, by increasing build zone via HQ, or simply spreading things out. What you typically would use walls for is either protecting your HQ, protecting tents, and most importantly, funneling enemies into a central area, where more than 2 turrets can fire upon them. It can be hard to adjust at first, but it helps ALOT. Thats all. :p edit:Spawn units in waves, not staggered.

Your best thing to make your base is to squish them all in with the towers and special buildings near the middle. the sandbags at the front. and in front of that use walls to make a funnel. Don't make all of the towers face only the entrance you built because if you blow up a wall you can just walk in. Oh, also put your tents in the back.

baron the tents and defenses u were showing had 0 that was a glitch lol so yeah dont worry its upgraded and have benefits. for attacks u will unlock more slots when u lvl up and for the attack cards decoy is excellent i dont know but many of the players doesnt know how decoy really works but if you put decoy on one the buildings while attacking the buildings and soldiers of the enemy will fire and damage the decoyed buildings that doesnt work very well with units but its also great for like if the enemy has a grenadier then u decoy a cluster of enemies he will launch at them and kill them also focus fire card is good too it lasts good amount of time and u can use it even if your soldiers are very far away they attack it so keep that in mind like if there was a sniper tower behind a bunker u can focus on it then they shoot the bunker and will do a good dmg to the sniper before the card run out or if u want to destroy a wall also u need to lvl up fast to get the AA cause its very important gun it will deny any anti air in its area of effect and also the trees and stuff will block the sight of defences so u can use them wisely into your advantege if u want to close some areas with walls they will help u ai in this game loves to go in from the sides most of the time if u have the battle dont waste muntions cause they will add up and try not to slack or get alot of your soldiers killed while attacking because u will lose points which is awarded if u beat him and its basicly is exp and muntions doubles any way if u attack and beat a more harder opponent it will be much more and also if u see the built in thing while u checking who to attack that means the muntions u start with u can have more with the muntion attack card too if u use it. sniper towers can kill multiply enemies in one line and is very good for heavy or special units always keep them behind bunkers their fire rate is shit and bunkers are very good for any enemies . try to make line of defenses with sand bags infront of your defense structures that way they can be effective also the mines u put dont activate instant it just take like 2 seconds but if u have some one firing at its direction it will instantly be detonated never take bombing runs attack cards with u in attacks it sucks so bad it just kills infantry and its not accurate so take cruise missiles they do so much damage than fire bombs too i am lvl 30 already since u posted the video of you playing the game and i am obssesed with it also the defender points u get from lvling up but u wont get that much but u get them from card packs too u can get almost any thing from a common card pack except damn hero perks that i have been trying to get forever xDDD some attack cards can be upgraded like the muntion card and unit capacity u can recycle shitty cards like rally points and bombing runs and the big head mode that is cosmetic i think thats all i can remember now

You should build a maze out of walls and then have a high level bunker at the end the maze will also slow down enemy's.

Upgrading tents make your soliders come more often. upgrading bunkers/sniper towers/mortars make them like double and triple ammoumt of guns in those buildings.

also grunts work perfectly since they have metals like the other units do so you should try and get those done so they can get metals which improves them for exsample to improve the deployment speed of the grunts win 15 battles using only them. check out the metal requirement for each and try and get them done.

Baron, the best (or one of the best) defences in guns up is having all your tents and your HQ producing grunts, then having a wall with a opening in the center, behind those walls(on the side of your HQ) some sand bags in V formation, then the rest is up to you, BTW, here is how it should look. __ __ \ / \ /

Also once you upgrade anything to lvl 4 it gains another ”weapon” like you have a bunker lvl3 it has one machine gun and if you upgrade it to lvl 4 it has 2machine guns just helping you :)
