That LOZ Temple of the Moon level is a masterpiece. Would be improved with an earlier 2nd checkpoint / cycling checkpoints, but everything was so thought out. Feels good thinking of bonking the munchers through the clouds before the creator mentioned it in chat.

My kids have been looking forward to Minecraft for a long time. Obsessed with the game, and this was the first movie they were following updates on. Excitement was high for their first in-theater experience. Trailer came out and I excitedly brought it to my older son. 15 seconds in, he just started saying, "No... No.... Nope. No..." Summed it up nicely for us.

Minecraft doesn't look good at all. Played a little bit of it and it looks soulless. Like it doesnt have the spirit of the game. I mean heck look at the Mario movie. The 90's one. As dung as it was still kind of had the spirit of the games. Edit to add: I meant played it and the movie trailer looks soilulless.

I liked the Minecraft trailer. Not for its quality, but for its potential. Maybe make the game stuff less photorealistic and fix the lighting issue on the live action people, and I can see it being better received.
