I'm late, but the Word tells us, where two or more are gathered in my name (Jesus, Yeshua, so on) there I am with you. Churches are supposed to be in the homes. With our neighbors. That's the ideal. We need the Word and by doing so we get the Holy Spirit if we ask in honesty. (The best way I can explain the holy Spirit, the closest approximation is like a mindset, or a world view, but I speak as a man and not God). Just read, look for Jesus throughout the scriptures. And then relate those stories to you own life. You'll see he's always been there. God bless. I hope this finds you well.

What I love about their relationship is that Half lets her be. He lets her be all that she is. Sad, happy, sweet, kind, angry and everything else in between. Half doesn’t try to “fix” her when she’s upset. There’s nothing to fix. He lets her be and just supports the moment she’s having because he loves all of her. This is what a partnership looks like. This is what loves looks like. Thanks for always sharing your entirety with us.

I love this song because for those that deal with emotions outside of the whiskey or drugs it should allow us the empathy. The empathy for those that can’t and fall hard. I lost my husband at 32 I chose to feel because I knew I would lose myself. All should have empathy and know it’s so hard to deal with the really hard emotions of life we ride. We have to stand to help those that find themselves drowning to block them.

Crying here with ya fam. Anybody who had dealt with any kind of addiction or suicidal thoughts can really feel this one. Keep you in my prayers.

Love you guys! I’m a Heart Attack survivor from pain medication addiction! Trust me….. God hears your prayers even when you think he’s not listening! I prayed all the way up to the point I was transported in an ambulance to the ER where I was shocked 3 times! Yeah…… God hears your prayers even when your ears fail him! I love how Tom is bringing so many people together! Truly an angel when we need him the most! HOG!

You’re not alone, mamma. I was addicted to Fentanyl for 5 years and put a shotgun in my mouth several times, but chose a different path. That emotion you felt is the reason music like this & other real artists exist. My pain, depression, and instability at times are made just a little bit better when I pull them out of my head, into a paintbrush, and onto canvas. An outlet for emotions of any sort that you don’t know how to heal need to be let out with more than just a conversation. You are a BAMF just for throwing those pills out of your life. Never forget that moment & drawn on it when you’re feeling weak.

I've never had an addiction problem myself but I have attended more AA meetings then a lot of alcoholics before I was even in grade school. Many of my family struggled with addiction and their hardships were enough to scare me from ever even trying anything harder than smoke. I'm a huge fan of Tom Macdonald but this song hit home for me because I know so many of my loved ones have been here or are here now. And a note to the creators of this vid: I've seen a few of your videos but this one is my favorite. Your honest and raw reactions were real and I cannot say enough how much I respect that. Keep it up!

Ima 50 year old dude that has been sober nine years now and this dang song had me balling. How he said once being sober, things seem worse. So true. But the reality is dealing with life through a clear mind only makes it seem worse as where the booze just covered that mess up. But yeah man, the dude is deep and genuine. Like me some Tom Macdonald.

Girl, I cried right along with you. I almost lost my daughter from addiction. She finally checked herself into rehab and they kept her for two months. He came out a better person and I got my daughter back. She has found the Lord, which is hard to believe because she was an atheist. Addiction is a hard thing to go through. Sending you much love and respect for getting the help you needed with your additions.

I listened to this song for the first time today while I was working out. When I heard the words of the song “when all I need is church” I couldn’t keep the tears from coming to my eyes. I was mid workout, full pump, and crying. I feel like Tom was given to us to help us in our worst times. Tom and everyone who helps you, please keep doing your thing.

Both the tears falling and then giggling over recognizing their feelings has made me feel very connected to these two good people. Wonderfully done. Beautiful.

In response to that line, "I don't believe anybody will miss me", Half said, "that's the way I feel"..... I'm betting 135,000 subscribers (and counting) would miss the hell out of you two.

~ It's really such an important song. It touches people deeply... people are sharing their private, and family demons... reaching out to comfort others.... or to be comforted. It unites everyone, under one loving umbrella... It's kind of amazing. 💕🙂💕🙂💕

Pills are the devils medicine. If you have yet please never take them. It took me 11 years to kick my addiction. It took me to lose everything friends, family and even the roof over my head before I saw the light. I'm now 6 years sober and I'm married, have 2 beautiful boys, own my own home and even opened my own business 3 years ago. For anyone that is still struggling keeping pushing forward because sometimes you have to walk through hell before you can see heaven. I love you all!
