Our culture is constantly telling women that they deserve better. And constantly telling men to do better, be better. Same message in most churches.

Women sin too! It's time pastors stopped being afraid to call it out.

@jonathancarey3029 the membership and attendance of churches is skewed towards women in the west, and treating church like a business, many choose to rely on marketing analysis and catered messaging in lieu of standing on the Word. It's a terrible pattern.

I quote "There's no pride in GODLY MARRIAGE " Wow that's wisdom and while watching you Maam and Sir, I've reminded with the word of God 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, And ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Please kindly pray for Me, My husband is not a believer of Christ. Thank you so much

I know this is an older video, but thank you both for what you're doing for the benefit of everyone's marriages. I feel that I need to urge you both, and everyone who reads this comment, to re-read the Dietary Law in Leviticus 11. And re-read Matthew 15. I believe it is a common misconception amongst believers to think that what was deemed to be unclean and an abomination and SHALL NOT be eaten is now somehow clean or permitted to be eaten. Deception is very real! Yes, Jesus is saying in Matthew 15 that what comes out of your mouth is what defiles you. But this was a rebuke for the Pharisees upholding their traditions of washing their hands before eating. This rebuke was not about what was lawful or unlawful to eat. I hope that this comment helps someone.

Hey there Frederick's! I'm out in manitoba Canada supporting you guys like crazy! I love your podcast so much! Hearing you guys teach from a biblical perspective on family and marraige has been key to me and my wife's marraige. Just this last year I listed to over 15,000 minutes of you guys, that's 250 hours! You guys are truly doing the Lord's work and I am proud of the way you two take on the world with christ. Love you guys! Cheers!

I love you guys! I’m a single dude but learning about marriage, as I want a family on the future. These have been super helpful and even while working on something else and listening to this the Holy Spirit convicted me, basically saying if I was married I would have a ‘I deserve this’ mindset. God is using these videos to help me catch ungodly thinking before I’m married and to encourage me that people do want to be godly in the home. Please be blessed and I pray God blessed everything about your family. May you raise the next generation of nuclear families that will decimate this woke-xism antichrist trend. God bless.

I feel like if you talked about this issue every single day, you would have the most instructional and relatable marriage discipleship of all time. (Not that you don't already). This is exactly what I needed to hear. God has been trying to show me this my whole life. Please talk more about the damage of pride. Thank you guys!

For most men, porn use has been their dirty little secret since an early age. To have to suddenly be honest, acknowledge it as wrong, and form a plan to do something different in response to stress- that's like trying to retrain an old dog in one day. It will be a process but you should pray for his heart and yours. Pray that God will bring conviction into his life. Also pray for your own strength.. keep relying on him. None of it is personal and it doesn't say anything about you. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you or think you're beautiful, it just means he's struggling with sin like we all do.

What about when the person basically pretends to be a certain way. 3 years later turns out they were just trying to be that person you married. When the real person comes out they are unrecognizable and nothing close to the person you were led to believe you were marrying. How do you handle that.
@percussivemaintenance722215 күн бұрын
Do you think it was a bait and switch or a shift in personality and priorities based on changing circumstances?
@AIRBORNE91615 күн бұрын
@ honestly, I think it’s the energy expenditure from the kids that exposed a character deficiency. Kinda like that phrase you never know someone tell you have to deal with them hungry.
@percussivemaintenance722215 күн бұрын
@AIRBORNE916 I wish I had some kind of critical piece of information that would help, but it sounds like you're already trying to use your critical thinking to assess the situation clinically and not just respond with emotional reactions, which means you're far ahead of the average human, sadly. The best results I have had stem from a balance between changing my behavior to hopefully spur change and changing my expectations to accept the disappointments; finding ways to still choose to be a content and whole person even in difficult circumstances as an individual instead of expecting to be externally validated. I wish you the best, brother.

I don't believe it's about being " just willful";we have to look for my higher perspective and that higher perspective obviously would be Jesus when he said father forgive them for they know not what they do so in turn we end up hurting for them and not because of them.
