This Oolong Tastes Like Green Tea And Oolong Had a Baby

Taiwanese Baozhong is famous for being a lighter oxidation version of Taiwanese oolong, which somewhat reminds one of green tea. This new version of Japanese oolong is somewhat similar. It's a new experimental oolong from Japan. Although it's a bit more sensitive to heat compared to Taiwanese oolong, it has its own charm, and I think it deserves its own place in the complex world of tea. Give this tea a try and tell me what you think.

Two reactions: "why?" and "very cool!" I thought the same 😂❤ When someone says Oolong, my first thought is Taiwan, not Japan.

Even a Japanese tea seller told me that it makes no sense for him to sell Japanese oolong in Japan. 😅

So if i it were from Uji, would it be Ujilong or Uji zhong (Uji+bao zhong)?? I’d be very interested in trying this out. Will you visit this farmer when you go to Japan?

I’m think it will be called Uji-Bao. Hopefully they don’t think of pork buns after. 😂
