perfect example of how scuffed league hitboxes can be, if you stop the video, you can clearly tell he is hit by the ability, over half of his character is in the animation. Then in another game you can have naut or blitz hooks not even visually touch your character at all but still hit

Braun does best when enemy team jumps onto them. He can sheild the back line follow up and passive the attackers. R makes it hard to chase. Kog only has a 7 sec windo on w to hit so he doesn’t always have up time and his e is very good for kiting and peeling on. Edit: proactive bot would be like kaisa or kalista as they have go tools in r. And of course leona rakan naut are very good proactive champs they love looking and starting plays

TLDR: Laning runes reduces enemy kill pressure on you in lane by giving you kill pressure on them whilst still gaining stacks from hitting them with abilities instead of minions, making a bigger difference than late game phase rush. My take on it is that your ideal situation would be to maximize your stacks on minions, but the enemy will try to punish you by poking, like what the Hwei did this game. And unlike early game Kayle, you can actually contest trades if they walk up to poke. And because you still get stacks from hitting the enemy with abilities, it is essentially the same as stacking the minions with your q. In the later stages of the laning phase (lvl 6+), the extra damage from runes definitely makes a significant difference in bringing them into kill pressure with your ult now available. Keep in mind that the more kill pressure you have on the enemy, the less they have on you, exactly like the saying of "the best defence is a good offence". I wouldn't count on phase rush keeping you safe from support roams and ganks because of chain cc.

It doesn't fit Veigar at all, you don't need to run people down and have a cage for zoning people away from you, you also don't hit three attacks fast enough for it to proc unless you auto attack which you just don't do late game it slows your DPS considerably(Q so low cool down and auto is slow) and by the time you've landed W, Q they're almost always in R range anyway. Old Predator on veigar was so nice because you had the movement speed to rotate to fights and catch people with your cage easily, the bad part of veigars movespeed is catching people in cage even but phase rush doesnt help that. Same goes go hextech GL and twin shadows items which slowed and helped you catch they were really good but having to hit all your skillshots and an auto to then get movement speed sounds horrendous on veigar.

@@codykeane6107 I didn't say you use it to run people down. Obviously it is used to stay safe after using all your cds. Also how do you need to hit all of your 4 abilities and an auto. You only need 3 abilities which is very doable in a teamfight and then you can reposition.

Its not cheaper since you need tear on Veigar. In some games its also necessary to buy boots. So you are just delaying your spike. But Fimblewinter is turbo cheap because it has tear in its build path.

When you upgrade them you get +45 bonus movement speed out of combat which allows you to rotate to fights and catch up to people to cage, similar to how predator used to work on Veigar. Veigar has slow movement speed everyone is a little faster and as you have to stop for a second when casting your cage people who are were in range can get out before the cage "lands" but having a bit of additional movespeed closes that gap. I'm probably not explaining it well but essentially a little more movement speed goes a long way on veigar and you get free AP from your Q stacking so going for slightly sub optimal stats for a utility benefit like extra movespeed to engage isn't bad on veigar.

Yeah ROA is so much better than fimbul: Less health Less Mana No CDR More expensive Worse buildpath (shit components) Literally only thing it has going for it is that it gives some AP And that's just the one stat that veigar does not need more of, since he will already be 400-500 ap anyways when he has rabadons second. Which is when you will start actually playing teamfights and playing the game (instead of just sitting mid farming)
