The soultanical side has more frizz and the Mielle is more defined, I will definitely be trying the Mielle

Thank you for your thoughts. At the time of filming I was having a hard time deciding. Looking at it now, I would have to agree with you. 😃

I've only used a hair milk once & I didn't get much out of it. I'd like to try again.

Yeah, I don't find that I need them in my routine, but maybe someone else with a little different hair can find them helpful. Another viewer commented about possibly using them to detagnle. So I might try this in the future to dry detangle (instead of usimg an oil) before I wash it.

@@lifeoffinecurls have you tried any of the Carol's Daughter lines? They're made for textured hair. I've used their Black Vanilla leave-in spray for years & really like it.

I have tried a few of their washday products. I really liked their strength conditioner (blue label), but did not care for the Washday Delight shampoo or conditioner. I'm not aware of that brand having a gel, so I have hesitated doing a full wash and style review. But I will consider it for the future.

I love the Soultanicals one more time. It’s slippery, more moisturizing and smells better 😊

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Some people prefer heavier moisturizers. 😊

I haven't used a hair milk, but it seems like it might be good for detangling.

That's a great idea! I may have to give that a try in the future. 😃

Hello Jody!🤗 I don't have either of those in my stash, but I've been wanting to try the one from Mielle. I never heard or seen the other one. I thought the Mielle side looked a bit better, as you said about the underside looked better. In your one of your last vidoes, you talked about under rated products. Well, have you tried Captivating Curls mousse by Suave?! I just tried it & I'm impressed. I used it with a leave-in, but I think maybe I didn't need to because the mousse is so creamy. I did a light refresh with it on day 2, only because I don't think I used enough on washday. I was afraid of using too much of it because it was so creamy. I brushed styled with it in. I haven't tried all the mousses out there, but I think I found my favorite. Debnycurl was the one that got me to try it. I'll try to take some pics & post it on IG. Oh, I love your T-shirt you had on! God bless!n

I have not tried or even seen the Captivating Curl Mousse from Suave. I am always looking for new affordable drugstore options to bring to you guys, so I may look into that in the future Thanls for sharing! 😀🤗 P.S. I get my Christian shirts from Love in Faith. Sometimes they have great sales (check around Easter and other holidays).

@@lifeoffinecurls I can get the Captivating Curls mousse at Walmart and Amazon. I really don't know if it CG approved and what's in it. I really don't concern myself with what's in the products. I usually clarify & deep condition once a month anyway. I hope they never stop making this mousse. I think I've seen that Christian shirt company on IG. I'll will look into it. Thanks.

@@simplycurlyde I don't concern myself with CG rules either. O do what works best for my curls. Sometimes I do call out certain ingredients for viewers just so they are aware and sometimes I don't 🤷♀️.

Are they creams? I like how it gave you volume 😊

All the hair milks that I have tried are a lotion like consistency. Some people use them as a prep/leave-in, a detangler, or use them as refreshers. Mainly, they are a moisturizer. I wouldn't necessarily consider them a styler, because they don't always clump and define your curls and I've never seen a milk offer hold; whereas creams typically address some or all of those (as well as moisture). I know that may seem like splitting hairs. If you enjoy experimenting with your hair stlyers, maybe find a reasonably priced one and play around with it to see if it is something you would like for your routine. If you don't enjoy experimenting, then I wouldn't worry about it. Leave-ins and curl creams are more essential to me personally.
