Interesting to see this review! I've been working my way through the anua 77% heart leaf toner for months now and can't wait until I'm through it. I haven't seen any soothing benefits from it at all, and I actually found it almost slightly irritating. It was kind of activating on my skin which can promote rosacea flares. My skin looks slightly more red after using it. I do have very sensitive skin though. And I don't really find it hydrating at all either. I don't get that hydrated, plumped effect which is what I love about toners. Pretty much I don't see any difference when I use it and when I don't. I much prefer other toners by far and I can't wait to be done with this one and on to a better toner match.

That sucks! It's possible the exfoliating fruit extracts aren't a match for your skin, I know that can be too much for some people! If you want to speed up use you could try it on your chest and back, maybe even legs!

@@KellyDriscoll ooooh that's a great idea! I think I'm going to try using it on my arms which are kind of dry and could use a little extra gentle exfoliating. I love this idea so I can happily move onto another toner for my face, but not be wasteful! ❤️

@@Whatever-hy3dd I love lots of Kelly's favorite hydrating toners. Make prem is really great. I also like the classic keep cool and soothe bamboo toner. And the gokujyun hado labo premium if you want all the hyaluronic acid. For the bougiest option I love amorepacific vintage green tea essence, it's the most expensive but definitely soothing and works wonders on my skin. Not very hydrating but definitely soothing and redness reducing and even balances oil production in my pores while also being super high in antioxidants. Overall with rosacea I find "soothing" toners aren't soothing enough and often have something that irritates rather than soothes my skin. Kelly's guess about the fruit acids is a good one, I didn't realize that was in the Anua toner until watching this video. For toners my best option is simple and hydrating, the less extracts the better. And for soothing with rosacea I recommend something more powerful. I really like niod modulating glucosides serum for soothing and irritation reduction. I think Kelly has in depth reviews of it on her channel if you want to check it out.

Hi Kelly in Summer I really benefit from the type of toner that has a very mild exfoliating effect eg Round Lab Dokdo toner, PY calming moisture toner and the Cosrx ABC refreshing toner. these three work in a very similar way for me tbh and give a mild exfoliation daily to keep my pores clearer when dealing with sweat and extra spf layers during Summer. My skin is incredibly reactive with both rosacea and eczema, so traditional exfoliating toners are far too active/irritating on my skin and really don't work for me eg Pixi glow tonic or the ordinary glycolic toner. These really mild Korean toners are enough used daily to get the benefits I'm looking for, without irritation/inflammation. Perhaps a battle of this type of toner would be helpful for others? Another type of battle would be super hydrating essences suitable for dry/dehydrated skin. Just because it's Summer doesn't mean dry skin isn't really dry anymore, but the normal rich/buttery formulations we rely on most of the year won't sink in to the skin during Summer. Finding replacement products that really moisturise without that buttery texture can be difficult - most lighter products just don't moisturise enough to feed very dry skin and it feels parched later in the day (it's a balancing act). I am almost finished the Anua one and love it, although it just feels like a normal watery toner. I didn't think it was different from any other toner, but it was really hydrating and light for a summer toner. I think I will try Manyo next, as I quite like a lot of Manyo products.

Oh wow, nice products! I'd suggest starting each one a few days apart, they likely are fine together but it will take longer to address and heal any issues that could occur then taking the time to incorporate one by one.

I kinda went crazy on kbeauty toner purchases on PrimeDay. I purchased the Anua 77% like 5 minutes before prime discount was expired. I also got the Numbuzin toner 3 and skin1004 brightening toner. I wonder if it would be too harsh to layer all of them at once since I can't wait to try them.

I bought the manyo heartleaf ampoule and I love it. It's so light and need to apply with dropper because sinks in so fast. Do you think the anua toner would be a good replacement for the isntree toner? Or should I get the anua toner since I already have a heartleaf serum?

Hi Kelly! Always love your product recommendations as another combo-sensitive skin gal! One question - have you tried the renewed benton green tea toner? It’s been my go-to toner for summer/acne time but I heard it changed its ingredients a little bit in its renewal (added Salix Alba Bark Extract & Sodium Citrate). Curious of your thoughts!

Doesn't sound too different! There has always been some form of Willow bark in the formula and sodium citrate just adjusts pH! Haven't tried but I can't imagine it's vastly different based on those changes.

I love heartlief as an ingredient but omg I hate Manyo toner... I cant wait until its gone. Zero hydration whatsoever. Probably water is more hydrating. I am now using it on my body and I put it in spray bottle and in fridge for beach days.
