I do have mostly normal to slightly oily skin but I use the milky toners around my eyes because that is what seems to help with my dermatitis. I use it during a heavier toner during these winter months since the dryness really seems to come out. Not in my T-zone. I have other toners that I know works... I finally broke and got the Lipikar cream. It's making such a huge difference! I thought it would be too much but right now it's what I need. I usually don't moisturize in the morning because my sunscreen is enough but I guess this winter it's just not. I use 2 layers of the Cosrx propolis toner, then 2 layers of the Make Prem toner. I use the Skin1004 poremizing serum, the Timeless CoQ10 serum, and the Timeless Vitamin C serum. Lastly is the Lipikar cream, Rhofade (RX) and sunscreen (either Skin1004 or BoJ). My skin has been so bright, hydrated and moisturized. I'm so thankful for your recommendations! You help keep my 41 year old face looking youthful 😊

Adapalene gel is not for everyone It destroyed my skin’s barrier (recovering atm) Did use it for the recommended 3 months Gave it a fair shot Was able to use it 3x a week the most It didn’t help my skin but instead aggravated the heck out of it Nope Thanks

Normal sheet masks work better than this (15-20 min application) cause they are more watery than this. The hydrogel if kept for very long time on skin could be sucking up the moisture from skin hence the dryness. Dehydrated skin types obviously won't like this mask.

Hi Kelly, the Haru Haru Wonder essence is really special and I love it, especially for my desert-dry skin. I have never felt such a nourishing texture in other K-beauty products. That Haru Haru toner is everything this winter

I always love your positivity and life advice at the end. I got some bad medical news and my disease is not in remission like we hoped. I start infusions at home next month which scares me but I also realize that this change could be great and make me healthier. I am trying to stay positive and just keep thinking “Let go, let God.” Trying to relinquish control has helped me a lot with my life. I realized I am in control of very little and that is okay.

I have a question if anyone could answer. I have never used chemicals on face other than your basic face and/or body wash and moisturizer AND astringent (toner) with alcohol. I was a drinker of alcohol for 10+ years but I completely quit 2 years ago. I never started properly hydrated my body until 1 week ago. I have never consumed much liquids during the day. Is it possible my skin barrier is damaged even without exfoliating? My skin isnt smooth, I do have a couple blackheads but nothing crazy. I was just wondering if its still possible it is damaged. As a 39 yr old male, I have never cared for my skin, properly hydrated PLUS the alcohol use. I wasnt an alcoholic by any means but definitely had an unhealthy relationship with it. Plus I have been exposed to a lot of sun without sunscreen. I am just wanting to smoothen out my face skin, make the faint wrinkles by my eyes better and hrlydrate my face. I have only been at this for 1 week. I am using a CeraVe hydrating cleanser, a hydrating toner (without alcohol) and a moisturizer. How long does it take to get your face back to proper hydration? I am unsure of exactly what products I should be using. My skin used to be extremely oily but once I stopped the alcohol the oiliness went down like 90%. Should I be using like some serums or anything? My face almost looks like it has a bunch of tiny crators in it although I have never had an acne issue. What would cause that? Any advice anyone? I know different products work for different skin issues so scared to use the wrong stuff. I was using a CeraVe cleanser with Salicylic acid but I started getting all these tiny white heads popping up on my face (which I popped) and it seemed to dry out my face a tiny bit. I am just lost lol. I wished I would’ve started this a long time ago and plus not drank alcohol or not being hydrated enough. Like if I started trying to repair the barrier but would if my barrier is fine and it is something else I shojld be working on? I know it will take time and I am hoping to god my skin can be repaired. Any advice would be appreciated! Could it be possible the astringent with alcohol alone could have destroyed the barrier? Also, dont laugh at me, I am new to this. Haha

I usually identify my skin type as oily, but I got the Haru Haru Wonder toner as a freebie and it's been fantastic this winter! Torriden's hydrating serum (what I was using in the autumn) wasn't cutting it anymore, so I've been using Haru Haru as a barrier night-time serum instead. If anyone thinks this experience resonates with them, I'd recommend it for deep winter weather. Outside of winter, yeah, probably a bit too emollient.

I loved that Haru haru probiotics essence, I have dry skin and that was a great essence. I have only ever used various Japanese shampoos/treatments and am using Kaminni and Plus eau at the moment, but never tried Korean hair products. Unove sounds pretty good so might check the mask and oil out. The shampoo seems to have Sodium Laureth Sulfate so not keen on that as I get colour and straightening treatments so will have to give that a skip, especially as I wash my hair every 2 days and strong surfactants aren't great for that. I am curious about Korean haircare, as people talk about Japanese ones but not so much Korean ones

I really appreciate how you don't push so many products in these videos and really highlight your true favorites. Overconsumtion is so unhealthy for us and the planet and finding the right stuff that works for you and your budget should be key. I appreciate you Kelly!

Belated Merry Xmas, Kelly. Been using the Haruharu Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence for a few months now and I really like it. She's thick 😅 but it does absorb quickly. I wouldn't use it in the summer, but in my winter pm routine it's really restorative. Sometimes even in the morning, if I know I'm going to be outdoors in the cold London wind. Edit: I adore the whole Skin1004 Probio-Cica line, but the eye cream is the only one I haven't tried yet.
