I could see the gold sparkles. It is a beautiful flower. ❤

The gold sparkles ARE such a surprise!😍 My favorite mini phal is in bloom right now--she's a no-ID, but I love her because she reminds me of cherry blossoms 🌸🌸 So delicate and pretty!

All are beautifully grown. The star of the show for me is the Rugeley's Mill - gorgeous shape and textures. The opulent size. The ruffles and velvetiness of it. It's like an opera gown. 😍

I absolutely LOVE the Jiaho's Pink girl!! I'm from South Africa and was looking for it online, couldn't find it. Went to an orchid nursery and found a micro orchid (or perhaps a very small mini orchid haha) that was very pretty, and when I got home and searched for it, it turned out to be the pink girl. I was thrilled. Unfortunately the nursery didn't take good care of it, so it lost all its roots and it's now my little ICU patient. After several months it is finally growing a new leaf and trying to push out a new root. Finger's crossed it makes it, cause I've never seen it for sale here before or after that haha.

Most of my roses have 2 or 3 colours. Hope you find one of them & the smell is wonderful.

I generally am not a phal fan, but Jiaho's Pink Girl I love. Great little plant with adorable flowers and a light fragrance like lily of the valley.

Thanks for the disclaimer that mini phal can be not showy at the beginning. I was abit disappointed because I managed to revive my old phal and made it bloom, but well only with 8 buds 🤣 even with regular fertilizer. I have to remind myself that it needs time, and it will not be a magic overnight! Enjoy your video so much when you are sharing your experience with different types of orchids 🥰

i think it makes sense to have a color preference change depending on the temp and vibe of a space. I prefer more vibrant colors for my indoor bloomers because my walls are very pale and earth toned while outside there's more contrasting colors, so a pale bloom is just as fine as any saturated one.

I had a Cattleya 'Tokyo Life' x Rlc 'Dream Circle' which also had lovely red blooms, it not only bloomed in time for Valentine's Day in Feb, but also had a strong cinnamon scent to it as well. Exactly like the small hard red cinnamon candy hearts children love on Feb 14th. Unfortunately the pseudobulbs and leaves developed deep black pits, some sort of virus, so had to be thrown out. Am still looking for another to replace it, and yes, it sparkled like yours!

Hello Danny, I had also the Barbie and I was also disappointed . She was also a dark red tolumnia and the flowers were small and strange. It was my very first Tolumnia that bloom under my care so I was not sure how the flowers should look like. I lost it due to summer heat and I didn't know if I was sad or relieved, since I didn't really like it.

I have a jiaho’s pink girl and I love her. However, I find she’s a bit temperamental for me. I’m working on improving her growths. Love your tolumnias. I’ve got a group of my own and they are so pretty!

How to bloom orchids? I do have phalaenopsis, vandas, mokara at strap leaf vandas. They don't bloom yet 😌
@barbaragall5395Күн бұрын
Hi Danny…why do my phaleonopsis orchids have two foot long air roots? I’m sure I need different pots…they are all in solid clay pots

Hey Danny The Tolumnia" not Barbie"😂 is actually very pink on the back side of the flower😊 Love love your videos❤

So I am not the only one who saw pink on the back of some of the flowers as well as along the sides of the flowers! I think Tolumnia ‘Not Barbie’ 😂 is pretty anyways!

Do you have a species /hard to grow orchid section. I would love if someone put a list of cool weird growth habit species together. Also my rungsurianum is in bud and this will be my first flower of the species to bloom. Do you have any of that ? If not you most certainly need one or two or three for that matter.

Stunning cattleya !!😍 Crossing my fingers that mine will bloom too! Do you find that artificial light is sufficient to bloom cattleyas? Personally i live in Norway and its like dark 80% of the day these days, so meeting the light requirement naturally is kind of impossible here😅
@odysseyorchids9507Күн бұрын
It is possible as I have many friends who grow in basement areas. With the light requirements it’s a fine line between bright enough to bloom profusely and burnt leaves but once you get your height and wattage down you can do wonders.
