This Paper Mario Mod is SUPER DIFFICULT!

Hero Mode's latest demo, v4, comes with a bunch of changes to Prologue, Chapter 1, and features the newly added Chapter 2! Chapter 2 really ramped up the difficulty and kept me on my toes LOL Special thanks to ‪@Reed_QT‬ for allowing me to play and stream the v4 demo early!

Out of curiously why is it hard? I know nothing about modding, but what is it about this old-ish game that makes it difficult to mod compared to any other game?

@@ShyRanger I think they just mean that there's not many tools to edit the game with yet and less documentation, so to see them make custom scripted events despite that is really impressive. In comparison to like PM64 which has a lot more tools and documentation at this point.

@@philip-op6de Were they simple sprite swaps? Also (particularly they were large scale mod like this) , exactly how many community tools did you use? How many hours of effort went into creating the tools you needed? Creating those tools to lower the barrier of entry so that mods can be was anything but simple.

Wanna know something ironic about Piercing Throw? In the Switch remake of TTYD, they actually buffed Hammer Throw to pierce Defense while doing 2 damage by itself. So yeah, they made Piercing Throw an official badge in the remake!
