I’m from Haiti and my friend told me a story of how she went to a church and the people were like control. The “pastor” would blow on the audience and everyone fell except her and her sister and mother.” The preacher was like “some people are not cooperating so we need to blow harder!” She said the pastor blew and she felt like she was about to go down but she kept praying in her heart. She said it was the craziest and scariest thing she ever been part of.

I got called an unbeliever under almost that same circumstances. I walked out and handed an usher my offering before leaving their foolishness. Another pastor claimed no one was leaving until a certain amount was placed in the offering. My friend and I got up and walked out as if daring anyone to touch us.😂

Yup there was a “pastor” from Haiti who visited a church a went to and my spirit felt unease. I didn’t feel fear but as in I didn’t trust the man. He started praying over people and prophecies. He prayed for my mom and said the strangest things that would happen in the future. It’s almost like he was fortune telling. My mom also felt so off about the guy. I never said anything about it at church just in my head. So God forgive me if I was wrong 😭

They say SA is 80% Christian, yet a report that came out from the Department of Cultural Affairs I think it was, but I was in that meeting, saying at least 80% say they practice ancestral worship along with their Christian faith. I watched an interview of a man who was literally born a satanist. Incredible testimony. His name is Gabriel Estevão. He gave his life to Christ. He mentioned that in his dealings with the occult, that pastors make deals with demon/evil angels (fallen angels) to perform miracles and demonic healings. I watched a testimony yesterday about an ex occultist who is now a preacher in Africa and he said pastors in Africa would come to him to get powers from him when he was full of demons. This is the kind of power those preachers would come to him to get.

I remember seeing and experiencing some weird stuff. I remember one meeting where everyone getting prayer was falling and I momentarily wondered if I should fall just to fit in, because I never fell during prayer and I suspected that some people were just falling on purpose. I decided not to be fake and the pastor came around, praying and gradually pushing so hard on my forehead that I almost fell just from my center of gravity being off, because I was totally bent back. He finally moved on, though, and I was relieved. In contrast, I’ve had experiences where someone touched my forehead so gently and my legs were like jello - I know falling isn’t necessarily fake, but you definitely don’t have to physically push people onto the floor. Another time I visited a friend’s church and everyone started laughing uncontrollably for a long time. I was the only one not laughing in a room full of people and again, I felt like a lot of people were just laughing to fit in. It was odd. Another time I saw a woman acting like a chicken - bobbing her head and scratching the floor with her feet in front of the congregation. I’ve seen a lot of genuine stuff and some weird stuff over the years.

The realization that I've been lied to for so many years is truly heartbreaking. My poor mother fell for the lies these frauds would preach and sadly that cost her her life. I'm just glad my suspicions were confirmed, I never really had a good feeling about those types of churches.
